This Android Froyo tablet has a 1 GHz Infortm X220 ARM11 processor, 512 MB DDR SDRAM, and a 259-mm (10.2-inche) resistive touchscreen, which the user may interact with, using the stylus provided for the purpose. 16 GB ROM on the Flytouch III 16 GB Superpad can be enhanced to give up to 32 GB storage with the aid of TF cards. Flash 10.1, built-in GPS system with antenna, Ethernet connectivity, external 3G support, Web cam applications, multitasking with numerous applications and support for various audio and video formats, USB ports for standalone electronic devices, HDMI port for digital HD video, built-in speakers and 3.5 mm earphone jack are multimedia and other features available on the Android Froyo tablet. Users have a choice of using the RJ45 Ethernet connector or use the Wi-Fi wireless technologies 802.11 b/g for Internet connectivity. The sound system on the Flytouch 16 GB tablet comprises two built-in speakers, stereo headphone jack, and microphone. 3G cellular network, WCDMA is also supported on this Flytouch 16 GB tablet using Huawei E1750, Huawei E1752 or ZTE MF110 external modems. Battery capacity of 8000 mAh will allow functioning of the Flytouch III 16 GB Superpad up to seven hours. ) Purchased for an introductory tablet & experimentation.
In consideration of the price it is an OK tablet.
I'm happy with it, it is solidly built and android functions properly. Finger-control isn't so good - better with the pen ( again, its a budget tablet - not the Mercedez-benz ).
It is enjoyable for a range of uses - Just download the extra apps to do what you want. Video playback is good for normal files that are suitable for the screen size.
The only issue, is that only 1 USB port functions - but that is not really important to me ( think its a common experiance ). But I would've been completely happy if I could use a usb mouse at the same time as the little keyboard.
I think its a hardware bloop as messing around with various downloads did nothing & 5volt on the usb is absent.
Maybe just another small issue, was the cable length on the charger was sooo short - why didn't they make it longer ?
As far as comparison ... maybe other manufacturers may have faster systems with far better touch - sensitive screens, but you would be paying lots more cash. But as far as OS I think android is very good on any tablet ( to hell with 'Win8' ! ).
Obviously apple's tablet OS is great too, but again lots more cash needed.
