Does not always give the best way to get somewhere, they need to add programing to allow user requested alternate routes. The Traffic alert does not seem to be of much help, other than that I am very happy with the unit. The ease of use, easy to see screen voice alerts and price are all excellent. The lifetime map updates is another value added feature that is very important.

) This is the 4th Garmin product I've owned and Garmin has come through once again. Very user friendly. The 5" display is a great improvement and the screen is very clear. The volumn adjustment is a good feature. Have it set on 60% and it's plenty loud enough. A lifetime map upgrade at the Garmin site is $85 so that being included free with this model makes the whole unt a bargin.

This Garmin GPS unit was one of the best purchases I have ever made on eBay.An excellent product with free lifetime map updates included made this deal unbeatable!
The only 'bug' I found is the the speed gauge sticks to 11 or 12 MPH when you are routing to an inputed location.That should be resolved in the next map software update!

) I love this Garmin. I had one that was 4 years old and figured out pretty quickly that it was a real asset. I kept getting messages that the maps needed updating, and when I investigated it, I realized that it was about as cheap to buy another one as it was to update the maps on the old one. ANd tihs one has lifetime map updates included! Don't ever buy one that doesn't give you free updates. Also, I know the Smartphones have built in GPS, and they'll do in a pinch, but they don't compare to the features of having this GPS.

This GPS is perfect. Has a big 5" screen and volume control. Lifetime maps is the best feature as it saves you $85 each time there is an upgrade. The screen is clear, voice is clear and the price is well worth it.
