Movie synopsis

This film takes viewers on a thrilling trip through the mind of a frantic girl desperately searching for her missing sister. "Gone" stars Amanda Seyfried. Two years before the start of the film, a man kidnapped Seyfried's character and left her for dead. Now, when her sister also gets abducted, she sets out on a search for the kidnapper whom she believes is the same man who once kidnapped her. Due to a history of crying wolf, police are unwilling to help the anxious protagonist in this thriller, leaving her to fight for her sister's safety alone. This Blu-ray has excellent picture quality, and fans will enjoy the nail-biting scenes in high-definition. "Gone" is a traditional thriller, starting out at a slow pace and building up to a dramatic climax with plenty of twists along the way. Heitor Dhalia directs this film, rated PG-13 with a runtime of 95 minutes, and Summit Entertainment released the Blu-ray edition of "Gone" to store shelves in May 2012. Fans of suspense will enjoy plenty of excitement while watching this film.

Editorial reviews

"The picture is very simply constructed, using a minimum of tricks as it works its way toward its inevitable conclusion....As vigilante thrillers go, GONE is actually kind of subtle..."
Movieline - Stephanie Zacharek (02/24/2012)

"[A] fundamentally sound thriller with a gloomy, overcast sense of atmosphere, Brazilian director Heitor Dhalia making good use of the sodden, fatigued working-class precincts of Portland..."
