Movie synopsis
Join Ryan Reynolds in a fight for justice against evil forces with the "Green Lantern" action movie DVD. In this two-disc set, a special team of superheroes known as the "Green Lantern" Corps vow to protect the galaxy from corruption and evil. Each member of this brotherhood wears a ring endowing them with supernatural powers. However, when an evil enemy known as Parallax threatens to destroy the world of peace and justice this organization painstakingly maintains, a human-being (Hal Jordan) is included in the team to make things right. Packed with super powers, force-fields, and various action sequences, this action movie is thoroughly entertaining. Derived from the popular comic series, the "Green Lantern" certainly does a lot of justice to it as a movie. This "Green Lantern" two-disc set boasts great cinematic composition and detail. Moreover, this being an extended cut it comes with a preview of "Green Lantern": The Animated Series and review of the new comic series Justice League 1.

I got this version of the movie primarily for the extended scenes, which in my opinion, flesh out the movie a little better. People ragged on Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan but I think he did an excellent job.
I only wish I was part of the Green Lantern Corp myself now!

I enjoyed the movie, lots of cool special effects and a good story line. Ryan Reynolds was great in the part of the Green Lantern. He brought a serious, but often comical side to the film!
Excellent Movie and deal with the Blu-Ray/DVD combo at a great price!!

This is one of the best special effects/action films I have seen in a while. If you have paid attention, at the end of the movie, during the credits, it gives you a hint of things to come!! Looks like Green Lantern will be around for a while. Great movie!!

) I have not personally seen this movie but my friend said it was good enough so I bought it for my father for Christmas since he loves action movies.
