HP OfficeJet J4680 All-In-One Inkjet Printer

The Hewlett Packard Officejet J4680 InkJet Printer is a nice all in one printer with a nice fax, scanner, copier, printer all functions work very nicely. I like the built in wireless makes networking a printer on a home network so easy prints great in black and color nice picture turn out on it I am very pleased with my purchase of this printer and would reckomend it the cost is nice and the printer is very nice auto feeder on the fax came with all needed items to get it up and running.a over all good purchase A+++ Thanks.

I like the Hewlett Packard officejet Inkjet Printer. It was a great buy for the price. I was in need of an all in one with a fax that did not take up too much room. It was not costly, but was proficient to do everything including photo copies. This printer does. What I don't like about it, it does not print on both sides of the paper automatically. You have to do it manually and that offers up mistakes. Overall it is a good printer. Prints fast, I have yet to do a photo copies, but if it prints and faxes as fast as it does, I am looking forward to great photos :-}

This has got to be this biggest POS I have ever owned from HP. I've always had good results with HP faxes and printers, but this is the exception. I've had this one about 6 months, and have had nothing but problems with it. Let me explain: 1.) When feeding a document in to fax or copy it quite often fails to load correctly, requiring you to put it in and out several times until it senses a sucessful load. 2.)It has the uncanny ability to misfeed when faxing and crumple up your work and then jam. 3.) It constantly gives me a color cartridge error, which locks the machine up completely,I changed the cartridge, but still get same error. Can't use the machine unless you remove the cartridge all together. Machine is put together with cheap thin plastic parts, and it shows. It is clunky to use, and when in operation sounds like it's coming apart. The print is descent crisp and clean when it works. The wi fi feature does sink up easily and works well, but it's main feature of faxing and copying is horrendous so alot of good wi fi does. Do yourself a favor and stay away at any price!!

Junk wireless, in a nutshell. This thing will blithely assure you, "You have SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED WIRELESS SETUP!!" and then simply not work through wifi, period. Even worse, since it's then tied into networking, it will make your PC boot up time around 12-15 minutes---totally unacceptable. It DOES work via USB connection, and that's how I have mine set up, I simply had to have a printer when I bought this one--I was replacing a Lexmark Dumpster-Ballast Xtreme. I wouldn't buy this thing again--HP lost it's mind, putting this out for sale. If you get stuck with this doorstop/cat-perch, you will have to forgo quite a few of the features; the scanner function will be partially available via Windows XP setup. That said, it will print, and do that fairly well.

I had purchased an HP J4670 All-in-One for my PC and enjoyed using it; when I needed it to scan and print, as I was in the middle of the purchase of my family home, I had zero problems. When my Epson for my Mac died on me, and the service agency for it was worthless, I bought this J4680. Just as good, even has the wireless feature added on...cost me $20 less for this one on eBay than at Office Depot for the first one...no problems at all...fine quality scans and prints...I have yet to try its fax capability, but I will...
