I like how it came with detailed instructions as well as the copper needed to cool it down (known problem about the motherboards for this particular laptop is they tended to overheat). I had my old laptop up and running like new in no time at all.

This series of motherboards has a history of problems from HP. I took a chance and bought this one and so far no problems. It is working fine. I only hope it will continue for a while. An extra heatsinc was added for the video chip by the supplier. I think it will help. The HP dv2000, 4000, 6000, and 9000 with amd cpus also seem to have the problem. It is not the amd cpu that causes the problem, but it seems to be the motherboard being used.
It is too unreliable for me to recommend it.

) This motherboard was a used product which I bought to replace the one in my tx1000 which had no video. It worked perfectly for a few weeks, then no video. I removed the battery, and left it unpowered for a few days. When I eventually put in the battery it worked perfectly for a week or two, then no video.
During the time that it worked, it proved to be a very attractive unit but it is too unreliable for me to recommend it.

I was a little skeptical, however I pulled the trigger and purchased your product. The mother board works perfectly, this model does have a overheating issue. I am very pleased with my purchase and I will look to your company for my computer needs in the future. A+
