I loved that they brought back Methos & Joe ! Duncan with another wife....ok...but the Gypsies said he would never get married....suspension of disbelief I guess.I am a true highlander fan I love Christopher Lambert, but my favorite is Adrian Paul. I even watched(while it was still on tv) Highlander the Raven and own the 1 and only season on DVD.This movie sorta fits with the others and then it doesn't. I am happy for a happy and not a bitter ending for Duncan for once! I can see it ending here or picking up again.I think he movie as a movie works well and is awsome, it seems like the writers for thisone never watched the tv show. I am proud to have it in my collection and I recomend it to all Highlander Fans !

What A Disappointment!

If you were a fan of the TV series, because of any reasons beyond the swordplay, this movie is not for you. I didn't even watch half of it before cutting the DVD in pieces and throwing it away. I wouldn't even dishonor the TV series by listing this movie on ebay! It seems the creators (and actors) seemed to forget what made The Highlander such a success if the first place. Highlander was great because it explored the issues of good immortal beings trying to understand and help the human race while battling for survival. The graphic violence and crude profanity in this movie does no justice to the TV series! I am sure there who will like this movie, but understand what you are getting before you purchase, it is not an extension of the TV series.

I love the Highlander series and wanted to see others which complete the story. This was chopped up, poor story line, didn't give the source of the Immortals and was one of the worst movies I had ever seen. Unrealistic, poor acting, poor directing. I would not reccomend it to anyone over 16 or under 15.

I really loved the TV series, so I was very anxious to see the movie and how they would portray and develop Duncan. Although it was great to see his character in new material, I was disappointed in how his character was portrayed through much of the film as bitter and self-centered. The big attraction for me with Highlander has been the classic battle between good and evil. Just my opinion, but I would love to see more of that in the next two installments. Methos hit it on the head in the movie when he said, "This isn't the same Duncan we used to know." So while it was nice to see, I would have personally liked to have seen a more classic good vs. evil battle.
