Movie synopsis
Director Steven Spielberg brings J.M. Barrie's PETER PAN to the screen with a delightfully modernized twist. Forty-year-old Peter (Robin Williams) has grown up to be a workaholic lawyer with more affection for his cell phone than his wife and two children. When the family travels to England to visit Granny Wendy (Maggie Smith), Peter's son and daughter are kidnapped by the villainous Captain Hook (Dustin Hoffman). Peter's faithful pal, Tinkerbell (Julia Roberts), helps him return to Neverland--"Second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning"--to the world Peter has forgotten. There the Lost Boys welcome Peter back and try to get him in shape for his fight with Captain Hook. Peter must somehow remember his long-forgotten boyhood in Neverland and learn how to fly again before he can rescue his children away from the evil clutches of Captain Hook. Bob Hoskins costars as Hook's right-hand man, Smee, and Gwyneth Paltrow, in her first film role, plays the young Wendy. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Song for John Williams's "When You're Alone."

This is a great Peter Pan story. A little different than the usual story. Robin Williams plays Peter Pan who is all grown up and has kids of his own. Dustin Hoffman who plays Capitan Hook kidnaps Peters children one night. Julia Roberts who plays Tinkerbell has to make Peter remember who he really is in order to save his children. Action, adventure, and comedy make this a great family movie. Also has the lost boys, pirates, mermaids and so much more! There are a couple sad parts, but overall I would say this is a must see.

) Ah this movie is a great movie, especially if you ever wondered what would happen if peter pan had grown up and had a family of his own. What happens if he had forgotten who he was in the proccess of growing up..what happens if one day hook finially got his revenge and stole peter pans kids? AH the curiosity killing you now? YOU MUST see this film if you see one film this year it is this one! Its great for all ages because we all know the story of peter pan, and we all wanted the great answers to whatever happened to him after wendy. I loved this film ...i highly recommend it. Good for all ages.
great movie... kids can't get enough

) We put this on and it is an automatic babysitter. Our kids love pirates, and especially hook. My son sleeps with a sword, just in case Hook shows up "to get him" in his sleep!!!
ALL Father's & Dad's Should Watch

I loved this movie! It has such a positive meaning behind it that Fathers and Dads need to be aware of. Children CRAVE that attention from the BUSY DAD. This movie may break the heart of those with no dad. I would not recommend it for those young tender hearts that do not have a father in their life. I DO recommend it for Dad's to watch and PAY ATTENTION and realize how important you are to your children. LOVE this movie! Is the classic that I call a KEEPER!
