| The arcade hit HYDRO THUNDER has come to the PlayStation. Take control of nine different super powerful boats and hit the water in 12 different tracks. On every track the goal is simple: collect power-ups, use shortcuts, and be the first to the finish line. Choose a track and get racing in the Arcade mode, or for more of a challenge, play the Circuit mode where players must finish in the top three to have enough money to pay the entry fee for the next race. If dealing with other boats keeps giving you a headache, try to earn the fastest time in the Time Trial mode. If your friends want to join the powerboat racing, use the two-player mode to challenge them to a race. The wind will whip through your hair, and you just might get splashed with some water while playing HYDRO THUNDER. | |

) For those who havent played this game...It's definetely one I suggest. It might be a little more worth it to play in the arcades though, unless you have a steering wheel for your game console. It's just not as fun. The graphics arent amazing, as I bought it for my Playstation 2. However, when it came out for Playstation, I'm sure it may have been top of the line. What this game is good for...if you have it at home for your game console, it does make it a lot easier to play when you go to the arcades and you'll probably lose less money.

This is a really good game for a wide range of players; from young to old. Its easy to follow and understand the courses. The graphics are really sharp and clear. There are a lot of hidden features in this game that are loads of fun; when you actually figure them out. I decided to buy this game because I had one some years back and really wanted a new one. I would recommend this game to anyone who is looking for some adventure.

I rate it average, I have playstation 2 and in hydro thunder if you have playstation 2 you can only pick three boats in the begining, because even with the memory card it still wont save your history of playing so it starts you over to the begining. and you cant even work up to the faster boats. so you are stuck with only three boats instead of nine boats that sucks..

) I use this game with a PS1 & it works great! I'm on the 3rd level of tracks now & I have access to 9 boats. There are 4 bonus tracks after I complete 1st place in 'New York Disaster,' 'Ships Graveyard" & 'Venice Canals.' Jump ramps, secret shortcuts & realistic graphics are wonderful.

This is by far one of the best race games. They should make it for xbox360. the game is fun in both single player and head to head mode. I would recommend this title to anyone
