The best mineral foundation!
I have tried SEVERAL brands of makeup, mineral, liquid, and powder. JI foundation is the best! Especially for sensitive, breakout proned skin. I can even sleep in it w/o fear of breakout! Blends well, provides SPF coverage and a little goes a long way. Yes it's expensive...but well worth it.

Fantastic product. Try it, you won't be disappointed!
Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base is the only powder I use. I have used it for about 10 years. I use to buy it from the dermatologist office. It is the only powder that covers almost everything on my skin and does not cause me to break out.
This compact powder gives great coverage and evens out my skin tone. It doesn't look cakey or accentuate fine lines. Worth every dime!

I have extremely oily skin especially by afternoon. I am also beginning to mature around the eyes (age 31) and am concerned about make up that will settle in the creases. JI makeup is great because it offers physical sun protection and wears very nicely. It is build-able so I do not need a separate concealer for dark circles and blemishes. It also looks natural and minimizes pores. I recommend it for anyone who has oily skin and is looking for SPF.
Best color, Spf & smooth clean coverage. Not heavy looking or feeling.

I use this product now that I have skin cancer and I love love love it. The make-up person at Nordstrom could not believe how nice and smooth my skin looked. She wrote down the name of this Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base so that she could order it. It never has the "to much make-up" look. I like the natural look it gives me. You can put more or less on, as you wish but always looks great! I also have sensitive skin and have never had an issue so it must block most of the sun without blocking my pours. I hope they never change the formula and keep selling it forever. The colors are great. I use a yellowish color which a lot of companies don't sell so in the past (w/ other make-up) I had a 'clay' color to my skin which I hated. Since it is pressed and not "loose' like many mineral products, it doesn't leave a mess and it is easy to carry in your purse. The only thing I don't like is that the compact holder, although gold tone and beautiful, is heavy. It is not plastic, it is made of some metal. I wish it was light weight so I could put it in my pocket if I needed to.
