Kodak EASYSHARE C195 14.0 MP Digital Camera - Blue

The Kodak C-195 is small, compact and simple to operate. It takes great pictures. The view finder is a lighted screen on the back of the camera which is difficult to see in sunlight. It uses 2 AA batteries which are inexpensive and available just about everywhere. Without a memory card, the camera will hold between 10 to 12 pictures in it's internal memory. It also has the capability to record video clips with sound. The problem with my particular camera is the fact that it did not upload the software to my computer as it should have.
I had to go to the Kodak website to download it. It did not come with a memory card so I bought a 16 GB card for it. The camera would not recognize the card or format it. Each time it tried to format the card, it kept returning to the message that said "Memory Card Needs To Be Formatted"
It was definitely the correct card for this camera.
I suspected the new memory card was defective but after trying a different card that was known to work, I had the same problem. It turned out to be a problem with the camera and not the memory card. Kodak was very helpful in assisting me to get the camera repaired under warranty. It is factory refurbished and it came with a 90 day limited warranty.
It cost me about $6.00 to ship the camera to Illinois for repair. I just mailed it 2 days ago and they say to allow at least 2 weeks. Hopefully it will be repaired to my satisfaction. You're taking a chance anytime you buy something that has been refurbished. There is always a considerable savings by buying refurbished and many times the product is good as new. That wasn't the case with my camera. If I had bought a brand new one, I would have paid almost twice as much, but most likely it would have funtioned properly. Just because it says: Kodak CERTIFIED Refurbished doesn't mean it's going to function properly.

This camera is a great value.. and takes very clear and quality pictures. Its also lightweight and has a nice size lcd screen , i personally love it and recommend to my friends and family.

The camera is for a graduating 8th grader. She needed it for trips and parties. I liked it because of the ease of use and also as a starter camera, she would have a lot to learn about photography. It has good MPs and the zoom is great.
From a pro point of view, its not for experienced photographers coz the image quality isn't great. Its only good for the point and shoot when you want something quick.
The many other great products of the same kind would offer the same results.

I had this camera for about 3-4 months and the zoom button broke. Pretty disappionting for a camera that cost this much. Features are great, but picture quality is ok. I thought when it said easy share that you would be able to send a picture to someone through the camera, but instead you have to hook it up to a computer or laptop. Overall it's a pretty good camera.

Great price on Kodak easy share c195 14 Mega pixel camera. Perfect size, a lot of extra features Way cheaper than Walmart. Excellent Christmas gift. Thanks.
