Left Behind Trilogy (DVD, 2008, 4-Disc Set)

This is the first real account of the Last Days in a movie format, Although the last dvd in the series drifted away from the Biblical account, it still had a good message. The Rapture is coming very soon, and we must repent and ask Jesus Christ to Save us form Hell, and also from the Coming Tribulation. Where the Anti-Christ will rule like the movie shows, he will bring a false Peace to the Earth for a short time. I hope the next movie that comes out will show the Last Battle on Earth and also show The Lord Jesus Christ Coming back to earth to fight the Anti-Christ, and all the Nations who had surrounded His people Israel.

First off, this is not some big budget Hollywood extravaganza. Far from it! With that in perspective, all three "Left Behind" movies are extremely well done and worth owning. It doesn't matter if you are a Christian or not, as they are so well done, that owning them for the entertainment alone is worth every penny.

The movies are about the Biblical version of the "rapture" or the end of days as it were. Tim Lahaye has written these books and is very much involved in the movies as well. I have read the first three books, and look forward to reading the rest in the series. The main character is played by Kirk Cameron of "The Lost Boys" and "Full House" fame. There are very competent actors in the key roles, and that is what makes these great films.

All of these movies are just fine for kids, as long as an adult is around to answer questions. They are older movies now, and you can get them pretty inexpensively, and I highly recommend them.

I seen a movie similar to this movie when I was a child, which would be at least 30 years ago, however at that time I didn't understand it. Now that I've purchased the 2008, 4-disc set "Left Behind Trilogy"...I feel that I have add'ed an Awesome movie to my DVD collection. I rate it to the highest rating. My children, ages 10, 13 & 18, had a chance to see the movie with me and they understood it and enjoyed it right a long with my husband and I. AWESOME MOVIE...I did look up the scriptures and it is based on the Bible's scriptures. I can watch it over and over again... Thanks!!

We bought this DVD set to increase our personal movie collection of good movies the entire family can watch without being bombarded by Hollywood's attack on good Christian values.

This movie shows an awesome interpretation of the Book of Revelation! The story line quickly gets to the point: Millions of people have vanished and there is mass confusion. We then see people struggle with why, where, how, and what does this all mean. There is star power in the movie and the movie was professionally completed.
The only drawback I had was that it seems the series was not completed. I would like to see another movie made to complete the series.

If you have a family member, a rebellious teen, a neighbor or friend who doesn't know Christ as Savior these films are a great way to get them thinking about what comes next after we leave this life behind--makes us all think about how we are living and what would Jesus think about our actions and behaviors if he were to come back today...would you be LEFT BEHIND?

Great movie. Well acted. Makes you THINK (which is rare these days)! Great entertainment in a well made picture. Cameron and the supporting cast do a fantastic job of presenting a well loved series to those who loved the books and those who have no idea what I'm talking about...

Cameron was tremendous in the trilogy and even better in the new movie FIREPROOF!
