Leupold, made in USA

In this day and age of Chinese made, Japanese made, and lord only knows where made, it's great to see that this country still makes one of the finest optics in the world!! The warranty is unparalled. What other company will warranty a scope that has been sold to another person(s), other than the original buyer? If there are any, it can't be many. That shows how confident Leupold is in their product. I love my Leupold scopes. They're always clear, crisp, bright, and work flawlessly. I hunt varmints, and punch paper using this scope and it has never failed to please me. It also has a sun shade that works very well, for that bright sunny day that trys to burn your retina. I have an assortment of different scopes, that all work. My "old" Redfields are very, very good, and work extremely well. Some of the others, work, just not well. I always seem navigate back to Leupold and have yet to be dissapointed. Peace-out.

I've used many different scopes over the years, but I keep coming back to Leupold.
Leupold's lifetime warranty, regardless of whether you are the original owner or not, says a lot about confidence in their product.
You can run it over with a truck, and send the pieces back to them, and they will replace it.
There are many scopes that can match Leupold's performance under ideal conditions, and more expensive scopes that can better it.
However, where Leupold scopes really shine is their performance in adverse weather conditions.
Whether it's raining, foggy, sunrise or sunset, low light conditions, or extremely bright conditions with glare, the Leupold always provides a consistent razor sharp, clear, sight picture.
This is where other scopes fail miserably, resulting in a frustrating experience, and missed shots.
Leupold's are also very installation friendly on every installation so far.
Unlike Bushnell and Burris scopes, the Leupold has a wide range of elevation adjustments making shimming the scope rings unnecessary.
No, Leupolds are not cheap, but you get much more for your money than scopes that are much higher priced.

Fine quality optics as expected from Leupold. VX-II optics use a different lens coating from Leupold premium scopes, but I own both and can tell no difference. Maybe this scope on 12x is slightly dimmer in low light - but only slight and at 4x there is very little difference. Great value at the price.
