Amazing game. You take role of a young swordman David who must rescue princess (of cause! haha) of the kingdom Green Row.
The game itself is a typical isometric hack'n'slash with a BIG portion of puzzles. The dungeens are PACKED with all kind of brain-consuming puzzles. Some of the them are really hard to solve. Really.
As for the rest of the game the gameplay is simple -> hack, slash-> defeat boss-> move deeper in to dungeon.
The magic in this game has nice features. You can combine it from 4 elements. With gives great variosity in all kind of spells. This is great.
Overall this is a good game. It looks nice, music is great as well. And it's hard! So you can not only train your fingers but your brains as well! Don't think it's only for children.

If you've ever played Land Stalker, I would tell you this was the improved version since it shares a similar isometric point of view with a stronger combat system, better puzzles, and an excellent musical score. I would also compare this game to super metriod since this is a dungeon crawl with various save points along the way. This is a must have for any genesis library!

) it is very typical of many 90's era sega rpg's. it has more of an action aspect to it than the shining force and phantasy star types, similar to sword of vermilon but not quite so linear. if you like the sega rpg games you should enjoy this.
