Linksys E3000 is one of the most cost effective Wireless routers for SOHO; it has two radios: one for 802.11b/g/n standard, and the other for 802.11a/n standard, and three internal antennas for each radio (total of 6 internal antennas) making a great wireless coverage, that make E3000 compatible with all modern WiFi capable devices (smart phones, laptops, WiFi media players, etc...). also, the Wireless N standard support make the E3000 capable for HD video streaming over wireless. other features like 1-port Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet WAN , plus 4-port Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet switch, USB2.0 port for External USB hardrives (NAS solution) and 8MB Flash memory, 16MB DRAM, all that make it a fantastic, powerful Wireless Access Point. i recommend the E3000 for all house users/ Small Business users.
Suggestion: i recommend mounting the E3000 on a flat surface and make a good space between the surface and the E3000 to increase the Air flow, and avoid the heat issues underneath the unit.

In my opinion, this is the best Linksys/Cisco router so far. I've used many of the newer ones, but none of them is as solid as this one is. First thing I did was flash it over to DD-WRT. I set up my network (2.4 band is 802.11a/b/g and the 5.4 band is pure N at 40mhz, with the same SSID. The failover works perfectly, with N capable devices running at N speeds, and slower devices relegated to the 2.4 band. I haven't had a single issue with this device since then.
(Did have two problems, but neither was with the device.. first, DD-WRT doesn't like firefox... wouldn't save changes until I switched to a different browser. Second, had a terrible time getting my laptop to run at N speeds. Turned out my wireless adapter was built to use 5.2ghz instead of 5.4... took me forever to figure out why it wasn't connecting...)

Dual band and DD-WRT was easy to load. No issues using both bands at same time. IPad 2 works great with 5ghz band.

The Cisco Linksys E3000 is an awesome router. Wi-fi Devices connect quicker to it when turned on. Signal reaches farther away than my previous router and it makes downloading media like games and movies from Netflix very easy. No lag at all. I am very satisfied with it.
This brand has the best routers.

I think my devices are the obsolete now. This router has "standard" functions, but the usb NAS feature and dual band, if you dont have any N certified device it wont do its magic...
