) Needed an inexpensive wireless network router that would work with wife's Win 7 64bit laptop Wireless card as well as my collection of old P3/K6 desktops running Gnu/Linux OS distros with 3com NICs. This $20(USD) solution fit the bill. Simple setup with DSL Modem, 2 Cat5e cables and the laptop's wireless MAC address got the laptop and router to communicate wirelessly. My legacy PC desktops just plugged into the 10/100 Mbs ports and after software firewall setups we were in business.

I bought this router based on the expert advice from someone who knows about routers. This has been a great router. Once installed it has worked perfectly! We had a NetGear and we constantly lost internet connection - always having to unplug it and plug it back up usually at least twice before getting internet connection.

i used this for a mini red i have a 50 pc and i don't have any problem with any connection.
But about security its poor.
I use this device on cable connection the wireless connection i don't used yet.
But i recommender this device because its strong on red connection. (fisical)

Strong WiFi signal and stable operation

I experienced many different wireless G routers of different brands and models, such as TrendNet, CompUSA, Belkin, SMC, this WRT54G gives me the strongest wireless signal that is stronger than other wireless devices about 20%. I think it is due to its big dual antennas. In addition, it also offers stable operations (with firmware 1.02.8 10/05/2009).
