LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product!!! Can be applied as a powder for a soft finish or with a moist sponge for fabulous coverage that dries to matte finish. This is the only product I need to use...no concealer, no liquid foundation then powder finish. My skin looks and feels flawless!! Highly recommended for any skin type

) I USED MAC STUDIO FIX RELIGIOUSLY FOR OVER 10 YEARS.
I thought that my MAC was my greatest beauty weapon for years and years. Unfortunately, not everyone always agreed with me about that. My friends never asked about it, wanted to borrow it, or even said it looked good.
I THOUGHT IT DID.
My boyfriend was the most influencial: when we started dating several years ago - he used to politely comment about how i "wore too much" make- up. After actually taking his comments into consideration, I took a good look at myself, "looking my best" - and he was right.
I quickly went shopping for something "new","fresh", not so HEAVY.
I managed to lull myself into a false sense of NEEDING my MAC for a decade, so that has to say something about the product! (I'm not sure exactly 'what' though) Probably because I knew that MAC could turn my blotchy skin miraculously into one seamless color by just a few swipes of my pad!
By the way: ALWAYS buy extra application pads, they get icky and nasty really quick - especially in the summer.
My current views on MAC Studio Fix: I FEEL EMBARRASED ABOUT HOW MANY YEARS I WALKED AROUND WITH SUCH HEAVY COVERAGE ON MY FACE - IN THE SUNLIGHT, THE OFFICE, ETC. IT ISN'T NECESSARY FOR EVERYDAY WEAR - THERES NO NEED TO APPLY IT MORE THAN ONCE, JUST ONCE FOR THE ENTIRE DAY IF YOU MUST WEAR IT.
WITHOUT A DOUBT: IT COVERS ANY AND ALL TYPES OF SKIN IMPERFECTIONS. BUT 2 OR 3 APPLICATIONS IN ONE DAY COULD PROVE DISASTROUS FOR A GIRL WITH A TENDENCY TOWARDS OILY AREAS AROUND HER NOSE, HER FOREHEAD AND CHIN. (LIKE MYSELF). IT GETS HEAVY, AND UNEVEN.
I BELIEVE THAT ON A DAILY BASIS, THE MINERAL POWDERS WIN FOR MOST NATURAL LOOKING AS WELL AS AN EXTREMELY LIGHT AMOUNT NEEDED FOR A PRACTICAL AMOUNT OF COVERAGE.

This stuff is great. The studio fix from Mac is oil-free and hypoallergenic so I don't have to worry about it irritating my sensitive skin. This is the best coverage of any of the products I've tried and I have been using it everyday for the past 2 years & love it! The only con I have heard people say is that it is too thick for them but if you use and all natural brush to apply the cover up instead of using the sponge that comes with the compact you can use the brush to make the coverage light or heavy. I have never broken out from this product and it is very long lasting. I highly recommend!
