Major League Baseball 2K12 (Xbox 360, 2012)

This game is the worst MLB 2K Sports game that has ever been released to-date. I bought this game a few days after it was released- sold it two days later. I am ashamed of myself for even thinking about purchasing this video game.

The game's graphics are the exact same as they were three, four years ago. The game glitches here and there which really messes up the game play. The controls are horrible and are not easy whatsoever to navigate (especially the runners on-base). There are tons of features on this game that are cool but it looks as if the developers threw it all together in the matter of days and let it be. It does not look like they put much effort into this game at all as there are way to many flaws in the game itself.

Some examples of when I was playing. I was in the outfield, running for a pop fly. My outfielder dove for the ball near the fence, was launched into the wall, through the wall and disappeared. Another example was when I was up to bat, my batter hit the ball foul. The foul ball was launched into the stands and the fans themselves were jumping and diving at the ball. It was outrageously unrealistic. Same circumstance, my batter hit a foul ball, the ball was launched OVER the stands and disappeared through the stadium walls. The game froze and I was forced to shut off, lost all my data and I was forced to restart the Xbox 360.

I don't hate anything, I don't write many bad reviews about games or movies, I am usually very easy to amuse and entertain. USUALLY. I am disgusted that I took the time out of my day and the money out of my paycheck to go to the local game store and buy this video game.

Please, do yourself a favor, do not waste your valuable time, money and energy/frustration on this gosh awful game. To sum it up, the developers threw this game together and it seems as if they didn't care how good, or how bad game play was.

Fun game and would tell anyone to buy this game. I've bought 2K every year since 2K7. Very real pitch counts and player ratings. Makes each guy look and feel like the real thing. Fun to play online or against the computer. Franchise mode is the best. Follow the real season this year game by game or create your own franchise and play and make moves.

Great game, fun to play, entertaining for hours. There aren't too many differences between this and versions from years past, but the updated rosters are worth it. I dislike the new throwing bar and the amount of infield errors are unrealistic. The hitting is tougher/better IMO. I wouldn't buy this game if you have MLB2k11, just because there aren't too many differences.

I've had the game for two days and I can say already its the best 2k game ever make (I'm not sure how much that says). There are a couple "bugs" I've noticed in franchise mode that involve CPU editing when I've turned it all off. Be a pro mode is the best part of the game so far for me, I'm pitching my sixth game as I write this(still in the minors 58ovr).

Great game and easy. fun and one of the best mlb games made. real stats and out of this world. this product is just like any other game. great graphicd
