Microsoft Xbox 360 S Gears of War 3 Limited Edition 320 GB Red & Black Console (NTSC)

I felt like it was time to update my 360 and it was either this or the MW3 edition. Honestly I'm not the biggest fan of GoW3 but *goodness* am I a fan of this 360!! Just the actual art/color scheme on the device is amazing. Then it is a 320 GB with 2 controllers and a brand new game, for $400. They don't offer a 320GB 360 except for these limited editions! Also new controllers with a great new feature of having an adjustable D-pad ($60 a piece) and GoW3 ($60), so effectively take $120 off the price for a game and controller and you get the best prettiest Xbox you can buy for ~$50 bucks more than the cheapest one. I am sad that they only put the SD cable in this package, but I can use an HDMI cable so its not that big of a deal for me.

Setup was super easy. Cheapest way to get the extra-large (320GB) hard drive in a system already. Graphics on the controls has held up well. Receiving the game was a very nice bonus, along with a starter headset. Could not beat the package deal. The new games look fantastic, not quite high-end PC level, but close.

I've been a PS3 loyalist for years. However, I've also been waiting a long time for a good deal on a MS Xbox 360 and this was the one. As a bonus, it just happens to be the Limited Edition GOW MS Xbox 360. This console with a 320GB hard drive, two controllers, GOW game, built in wi-fi, ect. is an awesome value in my opinion. Not to mention it looks cool! What's not to love about this deal? Also being a Xbox 360 newbe, I'm stoked about being able to play some of Xbox's exclusive titles...bring on HALO!!!

I love this model, I bought this version because I love Gears of War and I love this design (red/black my fav color combination + gears logo). I knew that a new xbox console was upcoming when I bought this, that's why I bought a collectors edition, so I didn't regret buying it.

Other reviews tell you the specs of this console, so I'm skipping that and I'm going straight to the point. If you're a collector and love Gears of War, buy it and even if a new xbox is coming out, still buy it cuz you will miss playing 360 games which you will not be able to play on the new xbox one, plus you won't pay as much because it isn't new anymore.

And a little advice, make sure to buy it with the complete pack (xbox360, 2 wireless controllers also painted in red/black, the game gow3, headset and cables. Cuz a lot of people will only try to sell you the console only.

Fantastic platform, and this latest incarnation is the best. They've ironed out pretty much all the irritating things and streamlined the whole package. Built-in wifi and large built-in hard drive are both great, and the touch sensitive controls will (hopefully) eliminate bad connections in the buttons after long use.
