Motorola Droid Pro - 2GB - Black (Verizon) Smartphone

I like this phone because of the capabilities it has. I'm able to talk, text, surf the web, play games, listen to music and countless other things. It is easy to use and can be set up for any user. Sometimes it freezes and I have to shut it off and turn it back on but that's rarely.

6 months of use and its my favorite! I chose this over the iPhone 4

Well, i am answering emails and text messages all day and this phone serves that duty perfectly. It did take about a month to get used to not hitting the touch screen home keys while texting on the top row, but now i can text without looking pretty much. I don't encourage texting and driving but i feel if everybody that texted and drove used this phone, there would be many fewer accidents. Honestly i tried the iphone 4 for one day as i had switched to it thinking i had lost my droid pro. Well i love the games and touch screen of the iphone but the texting was a huge problem for me, lots of mistakes w/my man fingers. The blackberry keypad is much easier to get used to on the droid pro, and i am a pro at it.

access to gmail is easy, does what i need it to do at all times. sleek and slim, and the rest touchscreen and awesome. the best of both worlds. i am very productive w/this phone. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PHONE TO ANYONE.

Key board is great, I find myself hitting the correct key in doubt. The screen is nice, bright and responsive. The new hardware has really increased the productivity in loading apps and playing movies. Hooked it up to a moto s305 headset, nothing short of perfection, up to 33 feet of signal. I had the original droid and find the upgrade a positive gain if the device can be found for a cheap price. Flip to cricket if available and have 60 dollar payments for unlimited everything (1Gb data limit a month). I bought my product used and rooted the thing as soon as it was recieved (Liberty), with that said the camera is grainy. But all around this device is smooth, attractive, and easy to use. Dont waste your time with apple, this is open sourced.

The phone seems to work pretty good. The battery life isn't great like most others have pointed out so I bought the extended battery....and still not great. It'll last me a whole day, but I need to charge it everynight reguardless. The phone can delayed at times when canceling out of one app and trying to go to another. There are tons of apps; this is my first app capable phone; so I was thrilled to see such a wide selection. I have found so many different free apps I haven't had to purchase one yet.

Over all I would recommend this phone.

Very happy with this acquisition, it's hard to even call it a "phone" when it is practically a full-fledged supercomputer in my pocket :) Good-quality camera, very responsive interface with a nice set of additional Motorola widgets for consolidated messaging and social networking. If you're considering an Android phone, the Droid 2 or its successor the Droid 2 Global are you best bets in my book!
