Newsmy Newpad T3 8GB, Wi-Fi, 7in - Black

I bought this device at special at $89.00, knowing that it was probably some cheapy, crap tablet. I was proved wrong. This device packs quite a punch, able to run most apps on the google play store without any lag.

This device had many good features so ill only mention an important few. It is 7 inches wide, it has also a good resolution 800x480. This device was extremely portable and I easily used it for daily tasks, I even carried this to school to write down notes, and at home i use this for entertainment such as youtube and facebook. It really runs some apps flawlessly. It is also packed with the latest operating system by android being ICS 4.0. This runs seamlessly with this device and rarely ever lags. The touchscreen seems to be extremely responsive and knows when you actually touch it.

Onto the downside of the device, its battery life is very poor, it is not equipped with a 3.5mm jack (only a 2.5mm) and comes with no camera. Also when charging the device flickers and has touch screen randomness. I easily solved this by asking the seller for a new charger, so that problem was easily sorted. I hope in the next version can add camera, 3.5mm jack and improve its battery life, other than that the device runs flawlessly.

So in short, this device is extremely good value for money starting at $89.00. It definately can compete with other android releases as this is probably one of the few decent 7" tablets on the market. I would definately buy this again if they added several new features to enhance this device.

After reading mixed reviews all over the internet I was hesitant to buy this at first. But after receiving this, I was more than impressed.
First off, it's styling is really nice. This really is a cool thing. Doesn't have that cheap plasticy feeling either. The android OS runs very smooth as well. I've installed a several apps on it and it is smooth as ever.
I've read in a review the audio jack is 2.5, but it's not. its 3.5 socket just like you see on every other tab
All of the games I've tried like Bad Piggies/Where's my Water runs, but the frame rate is really low. I wouldn't play games in this thing. But for $80 what'd you expect..
The annoying thing is this has a mini USB port, not micro USB and it doesn't charge through that port. it has a separate charging port. So it doesn't connect to my universal portable charger. Battery life is around 2.5-3 hrs even with minimum brightness.
Overall this is a good value for money, if your expectation is to read ebooks, edit documents, email and skyping. For playing games and stuff you are better off with more powerful and expensive one.

I owned two other android tablets before getting the Newmy Newpad T3. It has many great features such as capacitive touch screen, fast cpu/gpu, good memory size (512 MB working and 8GB storage), 4.0 android OS and others. The Newsmy plays many video and audio formats. With the Capacitive touch screen and quick CPU, the Newsmy is quick and responsive (almost like an Apple ipad). Everyone should consider Newsmy newpad T3 when purchasing a new android tablets.

I have been surprised and very pleased with my Newsmy tablet. I have never used any device like this and had no idea how to do anything on it, i.e. find apps or download apps and books. I wanted this tablet primarily to get ebooks and it has been very easy to do. I've liked the ability to go to Amazon.com for books and Kindle books, then buy them for my tablet. I would recommend this tablet for anyone, but especially for anyone who is new to this type of technology. My husband has an IPad, but he also has this tablet and uses it both at home and at church. Because it's small and light weight, he has all the scriptures on the tablet so it's easier to take the tablet to church instead of either his regular scriptures or IPad. It is small enough to fit in his shirt pocket for church or to take anywhere else.

Touch screen is not sensitive enough, especially when internet browsing and in settings window. sometime you press on one letter, but others letters are pressed (not only close ones...).
Tablet does not recognize MicroSD card.
Next time I'll prefer to pay 30$ more, but to get more quality product
