Nice camera. Easy to use, good quality pictures. Zoom function works nicely. I like that it uses AA batteries rather then the typical expensive types. Takes a little time to learn the operation of all the control functions and software for downloading.

This camera is pretty cool for every day use and does what is expected from it. It comes with software to make really neat panorama shots, it has different modes for different applications, (portraits, landscapes, close-ups etc.) It's pretty easy to figure out and use once you read all the instructions and get it down, and the pictures come out nice as well. The only drawback is probably that it doesn't come with a battery charger, (it uses 2 AA's, rechargable or regular ones) but over all it's a pretty nice gadget for the money. I've had it a few months now, have taken tons of pictures and am satisfied with my purchase. Good camera, the 12 megapixel makes clear detailed pictures. I purchased an extended 2 year warranty with it just in case, but sofar so good.

I enjoy the smaller size compared to my 1980 model Canon AE-1. It doesn't seem to have the control features that I hoped it would, but I'm early in the process of using this device, so there is probably MUCH to learn given it's from Nikon.

Test photos taken so far have been very good. I'm not going to be using this for any serious photography so it's going to almost perfect for what I plan on using it for.

I do wish it had come with the full instruction manual as a physical book as opposed to a disc. I use a computer all day long at work so I choose not to have one at home. This makes the disc reference cumbersome for me PLUS you can't reference a disc when you're in the field.

Ergonomics as far as shutter placement and function, position of various buttons on the camera body, etc. are excellent. NOTE: if you have large hands and fingers, you may not enjoy using this camera or any other of its size for that matter.

Someone put this is a great 'back up camera'...I would totally agree. It is easy to operate, takes good pictures and has quite a few features. I'm partial to Nikons and this is my second camera of this model and I'm still pleased. I use this as my purse camera and it has done just fine for those purposes. As far as action shots I wouldn't use this for that or for intense zoom. For the money, this is the best quality of camera for your buck. I will probably buy another once this goes as my last one held up great (was ruined due to moisture) and this one seems to be also.

A wonderful little point and shoot camera,created by my favorite...Nikon! Once again Nikon proves to have wonderful optics and quality. Love it's easy to take with you size. An easy to use camera. It has many photo options including that of color choices and a wonderful video recorder with sound. The 12.0 mega pixels gives you less camera shake in low light situations and makes it easier to shoot in natural light without a flash. A fun product!
