Optoma HD66 DLP Projector

Works great. Even in the day time in full light! Great value. I was looking at some $1,000- $2,000 range projectors for my home theater setup, but this one had most of the features that the more expensive projectors had. In fact it had more high contrast ratio's and higher ansi-lumens than many of the Higher priced projectors.
At this point I was worried but when it got here and I hooked it up, it was awwsome. I did not expect a projector to look as bright and clear as a LCD TV. The Future Is Here Guys. Thankx!

I bought this projector to replace a hd DLP that was very nice but needing an update. This has been a great investment that the whole family really likes. Whether it's video games t.v. or movies you just can't beat a 120" hd screen, unless it's a 300" hd image, this projector can do that well too.
So far I can't really think of many con's, unless you consider other equipment you need to make this rock.
You will need a HDMI receiver (if you want this to run all video & sound) long enough cables, possibly an HDMI booster, a screen or painted wall and whatever system you want to connect to it. I have a PS3 and a P.C. connected currently.
If you are having doubts just get it and thank me later.

This one just blew me away, it´s as simple as that. I Expected a proper projector, had read all kinds of reviews online and was pretty sure this was the best way to go at this price... And I was right. The depht of the colors and the brightness are excellent. Even with a contrast of only 4000/1 this is, dollar for dollar, the best one money can buy. The value is phenomenal. This one is only 720p, but you can not really notice. The picture does not get "pixellated" at my 4,5M throw distance.

Very nice projector and the price is amazing. The Optoma HD66 is everything the specs say it is and seems like many happy owners. Very bright sharp clear picture for our outdoor movies.

this is a great projector, doesn,t need to turn off the lights to see it properly and with an 3d-xl adapter can play 3d movies and games.
supports direct tv hd in 1080p but coudn.t use direct tv3d even with the adapter.
i live in Argentina wich use 220 volts and i can plug in without adapter to the wall without trouble of burning anithing.
