Description
Stylish and handy, the Philips Norelco 7310XL is a rechargeable electric shaver for men. This Philips men’s shaver features a patented reflex action system that automatically adjusts to the shape of your face and neck, to offer a smooth shaving experience. The blades of the Philips Norelco 7310XL adopt the super lift and cut technology, wherein the hairs are lifted above skin level and then sliced comfortably. Three individually floating heads of this Philips men’s shaver adjust to the shape of your face, and align the blades close to the skin for an exceptionally sharp shave. You can easily clean this rechargeable electric shaver by rinsing it in tap water, thus saving time, eliminating the mess, and maintaining the shaver in good condition. The Philips Norelco 7310XL comes with a pop-up trimmer that lets you neatly trim and groom sideburns and moustaches. The stay-sharp blades sharpen themselves during each shave, ensuring a clean, close shave, and a maintenance-free operation.

This is a great electric shaver - close, comfortable shave, washable, cordless and affordable. The heads last much longer than claimed, a distinct plus considering that replacements tend to be a bit pricey. This is the second one I've had, and I bought a new one for two reasons: 1) the battery was not holding its charge very long any more (after about 4 years' use), and 2) I was able to buy this one brand new for little more than the cost of replacement heads (and I was still using the originals, although they were pretty well worn out). When this shaver wears out, I'll just get another of the same model.

Great cordless razor at about half the price of big box retail including shipping. The razor I was using needed a soldered in battery replacement. That battery shipped was going to cost half of what I paid for the new Norelco and there is always the possibility of irreprable damage when replacing the battery.

Previously I had a similar Remington that was underpowered from day one and required charging every 4 days. The Norelco has plenty of power so that the trimmer works great even on a low charge.I shaved / trimmed with it every day for 5 weeks before it needed a charge.

The shave is very smooth, close and quick with no pulling or other discomfort and I have a heavy beard. It cleans easily and the rotary blades do not pack full requiring disassembly like the Remington did.

One small thing - the battery dies dead flat with no warning but now I know the expected battery life I will just stay ahead of it by charging at the same time each month.

The Norelco is far superior to my old Remington in every way and I paid $10. less for the Norelco 5 years later. I would highly recommend this product and would buy it again.

My first Norelco was a Christmas gift from my father, 35 years ago. If I didn't use an electric shaver, I would shave with shaving cream and a wet razor. In the 80's, I used an electric wet/dry razor. Recently, I used a Panasonic electric Razor, because of the light weight of the shaver. However, if I had thick stubble, I would use the pop-up trimmer and then use the head of the razor. The Panasonic gave out and I used shaving cream and a blade, until I bought this Norelco model. The first thing that I noticed, was how quiet it was. The second thing that impressed me, was reading that I could run hot water, in cleaning the heads and the top of the shaver, even though it was a dry shaver. It dawned on me why Dad first bought me my first Norelco-the name of the product.

Great price and its the only one to shave the neck correctly

Great shaver, this 40 dollar model is just as good as the 100 dollar one I am replacing. Same heads. In fact the battery lasts longer. The main difference is that the more expensive one has Lithium Ion battery which charges very fast but doesn't last very long. This cheaper, non lithium battery lasts over a week between charges, but takes 8hrs to charge. Remember that with these non-lithium batteries they have memory issues so you need to run em all the way down before charging. After trying several other shavers the Norelco is the only one to properly shave the neck area. The panasonic took forever to get those pesky neck hairs.

I purchased this item to replace 3 other electric razors that I was dumb for buying in the first place. I read several reviews on it at various sites and the consensus was that it was a good razor. To say that it is excellent is an understatement. It runs so quiet that I thought there might be a problem with the battery at first but the shave was exceptional right off the bat and I noticed that it didn't bog down in heavy growth. This razor gives you a better shave than the old lather and blade ever did. I have a tough beard and my face is baby smooth after every shave with the 7310XL. Under the pop up shaving head is a large chamber to handle the cuttings. When done shaving, clean up is incredibly easy and convenient. Just pop the head up, dump it out and hose it down with hot water. Snap the head back in place and shake it a couple of times to get the excess water out. That's it. The instructions tell you to lubricate it once in a while with mineral oil. That is the only thing I could have considered a down side. I didn't have any and had to go out and buy some. But it was cheap and the bottle I got will probably last at least the rest of my life. Very definitely would buy again.
