Rosa Salvaje (DVD, 2007, 3-Disc Set)

This is an excellent movie - I purchased it because I am learning to speak Spanish. The fact that it does not have subtitles is a plus because listening to the conversations make me pay close attention to diction and intonation. Although I have not yet completed the entire series, I am very pleased with it.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is being introduced to the language because the story line revolves around normal everyday settings and life situations.

GREAT, I SAW THIS MEXICAN TELENOVELA WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, AND I LOVE IT, NOW I HAVE THE CHANCE TO SEE IT AGAIN IN DVD, ITS LIKE THE CINDERELLA STORY!

I am from Greece and when I was a child, all the TV series of Veronica Castro were broadcast in my country. Through them I loved the Spanish language. For the last few years I have been studying Spanish and it came to me that it would be a wonderful idea to watch these DVDs and learn. Unfortunately, the DVDs weren't what I had expected. To tell you the truth, I had read some reviews of people who had bought them but I thought to myself "How terrible could it be?". Well, you can imagine unless you see it for yourself. In the first DVD there is an emphasis on the lives of Rosa's in-laws, rather than on her. I could hardly see 1 whole minute with her. The songs have probably some kind of copyright or something and in scenes where the original music is heard, there is so loud a music (to cover the soundtrack) that you cannot hear what the actors are saying. It's a shame. This whole experience ruined my childhood memories. I wouldn't have bought it if I had known.

I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOREVER, FINALLY FOUND IT BUT IT IS ONLY 3 DISCS WHICH THE QUALITY IS GOOD BUT MOST OF THE STORY IS MISSING,I WAS HOPING THE WHOLE NOVELA COULD BE FOUND,BUT ALAS I COULD'T FIND ALL OF IT, FOR WHAT I GOT IT WAS OKAY, STILL LOOKING FOR THE WHOLE NOVELA.

Its a love story in simple times between simple people and complicated people. Complicated by their wealth and greed.
