) I wanted to have a place to completely back up of my computer and have a place to store and stream media. the USB 3.0 gives all the speed I need. I like that he Dock detaches allowing other Sata drives to be connected for easy access without having to open up my computer. I partitioned the drive and use 1 gig for backup and the rest for media. Thanks Seagate.

awesome, nice and past hard drive, it accommodates all my files in my computer. my pictures and video are now safe with my seagate 2TB external drive.

The Size of hard drive is good to stand it on the desk.

I needed to backup my hard drives. This has more than enough space. Also, pretty fast. And, pretty quiet.
