I recently bought a used computer from eBay. The computer came loaded with lots of extras. I knew that if the drive in the computer went toes up I would loose the extras it came with as well as all the data I had moved over. Solution find another 500gig dive at a good price. The drive arrived quickly and I was able it slip it into an external enclosure and and clone the entire contents of my laptop drive to the Seagate. So what happens in the future if the drive in my computer goes toes up. The Seagate was cloned as a bootable drive so all I have to do is take out the bad one and slip in the Seagate and I am up and running like new again as quickly as it takes me to undo a few screws and disconnect some cables. Great drive, and because it is a Seagate I know it will work perfectly when and if I ever need it.

I bought this to upgrade the harddrive for my PS3. The drive installed easily and after formatting it, it was good to go. I used it in a slim 120 to give myself lots of room for the PS+ games I was getting. The drive time doesn't seem any quicker or slower than the previous drive, and I can barely hear it when accessing my games list. It was definitely worth the $50 to get 500gb.

I bought this product to swap out the 120 GB hard drive in my PS3 that was quickly running out of space. The hard drive works great and fits all specifications that it must in order to be accepted by the PS3.

The product arrived in a timely manner and works perfectly, though the process of swapping hard drives is a bit time consuming. I can't say that I found anything that I disliked about the hard drive, as it does exactly what it's supposed do.

Almost every other review that I've seen says about the same thing. The Seagate Momentus (ST9500325AS) is the perfect hard drive to use when swapping hard drives in the PS3, nuff said.

good sotrage capacity for a laptop or external drive. very quiet and light weight. simple plug and play would recommend this to any and everyone!
