Episode 2, for example, introduces the term "modelizer": a guy who is obsessed with and will only date models. Some may accuse this series of male bashing. But women, after years of enduring shows with "men behaving badly," will relish the equal time. Some may blanch at the ladies' graphic language and ribald humor, or dismiss some of the situations as unrealistic (Carrie doesn't bat an eye when she discovers that an artist friend surreptitiously videotapes his sexual conquests). This is a very funny interesting series about single women in New York and relationships/sex. You never know what is going to happen next.

Sarah Jessica Parker and her friends experience the relationships/sex life of New York city. They laugh, they cry, learn new thing about themselves, and try to find love.

I like this because it breaks taboos and discusses real issues 30 something women have in the dating world. The only thing that may detore you from buying it, is the amount of nudity in this show. It is not suitable to watch this with children nearby. Other than that call the girlfriends over and have fun watching, laughing, crying, and discussing what this show is about...sex! Also if you liked this you might also try "The L word" its like a lesbian sex in the city.

I love the Sex & The City series. The characters are funny and the show is a lot of fun. I bought the first season on dvd; I had it on video, but wanted to complete my set of dvd's.
This show is definitely not for children to watch though.

Sex and the City....not for children, so more fun for the adults! Shows the sexy lives of 4 women in their 30s, living the life in the city. Humor meets Romance. Won 8 Golden Globes, Another 36 wins & 124 nominations for others. Sex and the City is entertaining and addictive. CAUTION: Once you see it, you might not be able to stop!
