) This HDTV is a beaut! 120hz is absolutely amazing! Of course, if you don't have the hardware to support it, you won't be able to see 'the magic' that happens (which separates the difference between 60hz and 120hz). Basically, if you got a FAST computer with HDMI-out and hook it up to this set, it will make the movie look so life-like, like a video game or live in person (see "the soap opera effect" for 120hz TV's)

) I bought this TV as my 1st investment into HDTV, I love the quality of the picture on this TV, it is as good or better than any I have seen in the stores for that price range and a lot of higher priced models too.
The sound from the speakers is a little "Tinny" but you can play it through your sound system OK.

Not a good experience.

) The TV I purchased came flawed. It has a stuck pixel and occasionally the screen will go black and the volume will shoot through the roof. I am dealing with the company right now and they're giving me the business. I keep gettin a different story from each operator. First they wanted pictures of the reciept and pixel. Then they said one broken pixel wasn't enough to warrent a repair or replacement. As for the TV going black and the volume shooting up, they say it is a problem they will have a repairman come out and look at but never made an appointment or acknowledged it further. If the TV was perfect I would say its a good mid grade TV. Kind of blurs during fast motion in movies and games. For now the company and my TV suck.

Sharp 47 in. tv

I was a bit skeptical at first purchasing a sharp tv through dell, but it was a gret buy. with the hd hookup the tv has clear picture with vibrant colors and the sound is ok as well, however we now use surround sound. the tv also has alll the necessary plug ins and is easy to access. exc. all the way around

Very very good value

For the money that is the best unit you can find. Picture may not up to the plasma but we could save a lot more on the electric and also generate less heat when use in the bedroom. Everything works great, I was first try to stay away from Sharp (since they are not that great compare to others like Samsung and Vizio) but it turns out good. Recommended.
