I really don't see the difference in the picture from my old DVD player but I only have two movies, I'll get there. The player works great and I love all that it can do, thanks so much.

The player works well. Picture and sound quality are great. Discs load quickly. Most of the built in apps are useless unless you are willing to pay for a subscription for their service. The Android app to control the player is neat except this player doesn't support all the features of the app.
The only real complaint I have is that it will flash up a bright green screen when starting up and when switching between screens. Pretty sure it isn't supposed to do that but it doesn't affect the functionality of the unit so it isn't a big deal.

) The Blue Ray player works great, also works great with standard DVD's. The wireless capability is somewhat confusing due to the fact that you have to purchase an expensive USB Wireless Device to allow you to access on line programming. Wasn't really a problem for me, because I didn't need the on line capability to just watch Blue Ray DVD's. Picture quality is excellent...
Great product. Sony make the best BR players IMO.

Great BR player. It is compact and appears to boot fast. Discs look great. As for the on line content via the RJ45 connection, apps appear to work as expected. This has the same features as my other more expensive Sony BR minus wifi. Very happy with performance.
