mdoc 376 and his then mine SONY MVC-CD2000 to learn.l
Created: 03/06/10
mdoc 376 gave me one of the best kept, most clean, most original -SONY MPEGMOVIE HQ DIGITAL STILL CAMERA MVC-CD200 that I have ever seen or paid for from cameras ranging from $15 to $829.19. I have to say that in a subjective tense, I was going through a hard time in life with health trouble and life experiences; but, I knew my true goal in life was photography. I am a former public practicing sole proprietor attorney for past 25 years; my time never allowed me to learn the theory and implementation of imagery as opposed to photography; my favorite website is 'The White House' and NASA and these are goals I relate to a nice gentleman, woman, or entity to send me through eBay the prettiest, most clean, and clearest sharpest taking image for a 2.0 MVC-CD (Megapixel) i
I always believe it is important to make a small introduction about yourself so you will know what I have done with my life. My work with SS card began at 14 years of age, if my memory serves me correct, I worked doing everything for everyone in a 1200 person communities throughout Appalachia. I knew someday, after earning my undergradate in Business and economics, then Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in Cincinnati Ohio and Highland Heights area of Northern Kentucky University, the seller of this camera, mdoc 136, gave me a keen opportunity to realize how President Obama states that 34% of revenue producing industry comes from "Disabled Persons" and Senior citizens just as I am approaching. My ill-nesses are no-fault and purely noncontributory in nature. I was an excellent athlete until shattering my legs in a car accident, noncontributory one car accient with steering sheered which is worst than no breaks [by the way], and my life changed from comfort to continuous discomfort without any health insurance or my parents money to help me with necessary surgeries.
I realize this is not connecting, yet, to my review of the SONY MAVICA MVC-CD200 but it truly does in a parallel, subjective through me, but objective through my excellent seller, mdoc 136. I was doubtful of my health, I was doubtful of whether the USPS had misplaced my camera that I had already studied and knew about from my love for photography. I was disciplined by the buyer to trust in people, to not be one-sided, to give everyone 2, 3, or 4 chances if they were willing and I knew they were willing to keep trying because quitters never win. The most important part of this sale of the camera to me was my knowledge of myself through the integrity of the seller, mdoc 136. "Modoc" was a nickname for me as a small child. He was one of my fathers [DOB 1920] uncles and sold and bartered mules, horses, knifes, and general farm implements on and around the Greenup County Courthouse in Greenup, Kentucky.
Through depression, my Father left high school early and his high school sweet heart, Laura Norris, my deceased Mother, to go to Chicago to start and complete an electronic school. Later in his WWII military career, he used that knowledge as part of the Manhattan Project, involving the constuction and tests of the nuclear bomb to stupidly be used by our country on a helpless Japan to annihilate their country. My Father never spoke about the military after that point. I loved and respected my Father and my Mother as Mother raised three daughters, then we 'three sons' while my Dad worked day and night to be a good provider.
Thank you mdoc 376; you were great to me and I respect you. KMCSR

My favorite "beast" of a Digital Camera
Created: 23/10/08
I love, love, LOVE the Sony Mavica MVC CD200 2.1 Megapixel camera. So much so that I bought another used one right here on eBay when my 7 year old constant eBay selling companion finally started acting wonky (and yes...it's worth it to me to see about having it serviced).
It's easy to use, takes FABULOUS photos (most of mine are for selling purposes, but family and vacation photos have been wonderful, too), and best of all...it uses a mini-disc for the photos. WAY less expensive and troublesome than memory sticks, IMO. And this was a life-saver for me when my USB port bit the dust. I was still able to access the photos from the disc drive.
Can you tell I'm not terribly "techie"? Well, I'm not. And this camera does everything I want and then some. It's got features I've never even really used...including video recording capability.
On the minus side, it's bulky and heavy and doesn't take super high resolution photos.
But for at-home eBay selling usage, I hope to continue using this model for years to come.

Solid digital camera

Easy to use and takes great outdoor and indoor shots. GREAT clarity and photo's can easily be printed as 11x14 with NO pixel distortion. Crystal clear pictures like a PRO! Perfect for weddings, parties, etc...Only drawback is that it's NOT a sports action camera. There is an imperceptible delay in the shutter and writing to the disk. A great digital camera for a novice and packed with special features including M-Peg movies which is a breeze to use! The digital display screen is very large also. You can immediately see if it's a good photo. If not, go again!!!

Good choice for those wanting to take a lot of pictures

Although the camera is much bigger than the current digitals I like the size and the fact that you can store your pictures on a mini-disk. And, you can download your pictures on your computer with ease. The pictures turn out excellent and are much better than my newer, smaller digital Sony camera and the functions work great too! For those seeking a DSLR camera but can't afford this is a good alternative with optional lens (purchased on Ebay)gives you similar proformance! Great buy that I will enjoy for years to come. Thanks MavicaVille!

I like it alot, its a really nice camera, unfortunately it thought I would get an upgrade to my old floppy disk Mavica, but I don't see it as an upgrade. I need a camera for selling art projects and ebay, and the floppy disk Mavica was great for that. This one is way more complicated (my 18 year old loves it). For someone that has a newer computer that will read the disks this uses, it would be wonderful, and QUITE a bargain. I am not a photographer, but people who are more acquainted with cameras LOVE it. If I wasn'tso use to my old FD Mavica I would love it. It is a beautiful camera that takes great pix but is much more complicated than my old one, which also took beautiful pictures.
