Awesome noise-cancelling MP3

) I recently got the NWZ-X1060 to replace my sony NWZ-S744 which I lost. I started looking for a replacement and read a lot of reviews but one thing was clear - I wanted another Sony MP3 player.
This is my 3rd Sony MP3, (I'm always losing stuff) and I've been very pleased with my previous two, the first being a NWZ-S618F.
The S618F was not a noise-cancelling MP3 but the S744 is and after having it for 3 years I have come to have a higher standard for my music player. I would not classify myself as an audiophile but maybe some who expects a little more.
I spend quite a bit of time on the London Underground which is really noisy and the noise cancelling function on Sony MP3 players really comes in handy and sometimes even along a noisy road it becomes really apparent.
The X1060 is quite an old model but after doing much research, i decided to go for it because it's noise cancelling function was rated one of the best and I'm not sure if the newer models like the A865 can compare to it.
I got a refurbished set which I would say made it quite value-for-money.
It comes with WiFi but i don't use it because frankly the screen is too small to make browsing a webpage worth the effort. but i have watched youtube videos on it and it works perfectly.
The only complain I have with the X1060 is the inability to search for a song by typing in a word but everytime i want to look for a song, i have to scroll through the hundreds of songs to get there. that's really annoying and i would say of poor design.
otherwise, the MP3 player is great. Awesome noise-cancelling, 32GB for plenty of storage space for videos and music and i like the rugged feel to it.
like all sony MP3s, the functions are similar but this has WiFi and you can stream youtube videos straight from it. I really like having the noise cancelling button on the side of the player instead of having to access it through the menu like in the S744.
touch screen is really responsive and i haven't had any issues with hanging or lagging so far (2 months) and this is a refurbished set.
Overall, I would recommend it to people who appreciate the noise cancelling function and the quality of Sony Walkman series MP3s.
