Movie synopsis

Tony Soprano returns, as does the entire cast (at least those that have not been whacked) in a box set chronicling the complete second season of the highly acclaimed HBO series. Tony continues to have family troubles--both immediate and otherwise--as he adjusts to being the new don of one of the most notorious crime syndicates in America. This season is packed with violent action, hilarious comedy, and the signature unspoken sexual longings between Tony (James Gandolfini) and his psychiatrist Dr. Melfi (Lorraine Bracco). This season also includes the first intimacy seen between Tony and his wife Carmela (Edie Falco) and the death of Barbara's father-in-law.

Editorial reviews

"...As usual, crack character acting abounds, in Alicia Witt's turn as a skin-deep film executive, Peter Bogdanovich's shrink's shrink, and THE X-FILES star Robert Patrick's arc as a 'happy wanderer'..."

The Sopranos is an American television drama series created by David Chase that revolves around the New Jersey-based mobster Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) and the difficulties he faces as he tries to balance the often conflicting requirements of his home life and the criminal organization he heads. The series also features Tony's family members and Mafia associates in prominent roles and storylines, most notably his wife Carmela (Edie Falco) and cousin and protégé Christopher Moltisanti (Michael Imperioli).

Sopranos

I am relatively new to the world of eBay.
I bought this DVD thinking I was getting Season 4. The way it is worded in the title it is confusing "The Sopranos: The Complete Second Season 4 DVD Set" in my search I had typed in season 4. I know it is my fault but a lot of the titles are labeled similarly. We love the Sopranos and we are trying to get the complete sets.
Now we are dealing with another problem with eBay. We have ordered a set and Ebay sent us a message saying it was no longer doing business with this person. Now the money ($120.00) has been taken out of my bank. So my eBay experience has not been really great.

I bought this DVD for mainly one reason - Richie Apriel. If you are a Sopranos fan, this needs to be on your wall next to the remaining seasons. Season 2 gives us more insight to the very complex character of one of our most beloved mob bosses, Tony Soprano. This season helps us understand just how miserable Tony's childhood must've been now that we get to know Janice a bit better. I would go in to greater detail, but some people haven't seen this season or are just getting into the show, now that it's ending, and I don't want to give anything away.
Sopranos = DVD collection MUST HAVE!

Best series ever!

I was hooked on the Sopranos from the first episode of season one. Now it is my mission to own the entire collection. If you love mobsters, drama, and soap operas, this collection is for you. Excellent. Best dramatic series. Not one complaint on my end.
