Supernatural - Series 2 - Complete (DVD)(UK version)

Supernatural is simply one of the best series to come out of the US for many years, the last being the X files - not coincidence they are made by the same team. If you enjoy fact mixed with fiction, drama mixed with wonderful characters and a compulsion to keep going to the very end, and then onto the next episode, and the next, and the next.....then get it. If you have the attention span of a gnat and can't follow multiple storylines then leave it. I got the entire series and cannot wait for them to finish filming the 8th season. Watch the gagreels - they are a hoot. Enjoy the sideways references to well loved characters and recognise names they use as aliases. Keep your tongue in your cheek and just enjoy it - you won't have nightmares. One highlight is the absence of profanity which is such a refreshing change from the films which think they are not realistic unless peppered with four letter words. It is so far above the run of the mill teeny bopper US conveyorbelt rubbish that you will want to keep it and watch it again. As with all good, well-produced stuff it has it's moments of levity which panders to the US sense of humour and therefore sometimes grates on the UK sensibilities (it's irony-deficient, like them) but that is overridden by the fact that you cannot help but be drawn into the multiple, interwoven plots. Well-written and a worthy successor to the X Files. You need an open mind of course - if you haven't, leave it alone and go for some other mindless trash, of which there is plenty to choose from. This is simply superb entertainment.

This is a fantastic series!! A friend showed us the first season and we were hooked! Sam and Dean are brilliant to watch and are extremely funny! We watched this night after night until it was finished and season 3 and we are now working our way through season 4 - this is a FANTASTIC series!

So far only watched one episode, but if second season is as good as the first, we are going to love it. We love paranormal and sci fi programmes

After watching an episode of super natural i had to get the box sets, so series 2 is another one in the chain, really enjoyed it, i wont compare it to other programs because its awsome its its own way 10 out of 10 easily i will be buying series 3

I bought series 2 after watching the first series, and it's turning out to be even better than the first. The story lines are fresh and original, and some quite scary moments, so if you haven't watched series one, then get that first and you'll be hooked.
