"Adventure in the Making" describes the making of the film, featuring interviews with Ken Annakin, Tommy Kirk, James MacArthur, Sir John Mills and more. "Lost Treasures - Swiss Family Treehouse" is narrated by Hayley Mills, and takes us on a 1962 tour with Walt Disney and Hayley's entire family of this newest Disneyland attraction. Included are Production Archives for the film, and the "1960 Disney Studio Album" (video scrapbook) combine for an unforgettable DVD experience.

Congratulations to those responsible for creating the "Vault Disney Collection" DVDs. Walt would be proud!

I grew up with this movie, and even 'all grown up', it never fails to entertain. The Robinson Family is stranded on an island filled with wild animals, and must survive until help arrives. Their adventures on the island, and their struggles to hold on to hope, to faith, to adventure, and to hold on to each other as a family, is endearing. Don't worry, though- this flick isn't all warmth and fuzz- there are pirate battles, storms, struggles to survive, zebras and tigers, a tree house every kid dreams about, a dash of romance, and their explorations of this strange and wonderful island that make this story unforgettable. Don't turn your back on a 60's classic. Swiss Family Robinson has stayed in the hearts and memories of those who watched it so long ago for a reason. Watch it for the first time, or with your kids, or refresh your memory. A great movie.

A true Walt Disney Classic which includes a huge variety of animals and scenic panarama. Action packed from beginning to end, this film emphasises and celebrates true Christain values and the Patriarchy. The Socialist who assumed control over the modern anti-american version of Walt Disney Studios would never approve of the cast or charactors today. No, films will never be made like this again, PETA members would throw themselves off the Golden Gate Bridge in protest of the use of these animals on set! Establish your copy of this Film to DVD Classic, one Walt Disney personally approved of himself!

This is another heart warming Disney classic. Its about a family who gets stranded on an island after a shipwreck. They encounter everything from tigers, pirates, giant snakes, surprisingly girlish looking boys. lol. Its a Great movie that the family can watch over and over!

absolutely wonderful family movie. wonderful action/adventure, but safe enough for children of all ages. a little bit of intensity with pirates, but no real danger. very well made and my kids have watched it daily since we purchased it.
