Titleist Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 Putter Golf Club

I have been using Scotty Cameron putters for 14 years. This goes back to my first, a TeI3 Sante Fe that I still have. Although its retired and sits in my office, its still a classic. Next, I moved to the 34 inch Newport 2 model and fell in love with the heel/toe balance and overall feel off the face. I just upgraded to the New 34 inch Studio Select Newport 2. The reason: The (2) inserted 15 gram weights that create a heavy putter that suits my feel. I stacked some 3 gram lead tape on my original Newport 2 to create this same effect. The New Studio design does it for me. If not mistaken, heavier 20 gram weights are available through Titleist if desired. the other key factor is the milled face that gets the ball rolling online quicker. I've never putted better! I highly recommended this putter.

As would be expected from the greatest line of putters, Scotty SS Newport 2 excels in feel and accuracy. This is another example of " you get what you pay for "
Many have tried to follow in the design and the milling of their putters and many fall short. Great putters give instant feedback on your stroke, this has followed the Pro Platinums and Studio Stainless in delivering just that.
So many golfers spend hundreds if not thousands on their drivers and cut corners when purchasing putters, wake up, buy the putter that delivers and build a solid foundation for your game. Your only dissapointment will be that you waited so long to buy a Scotty Cameron.

I recently purchased a used Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 that I discovered was fake. I saw numerous photos of what to look for when purchases a Scotty online and thought I was purchasing a authentic putter. It was a very good fake but did not feel right in my hands. The putter grip was just a hair off center which an actually Cameron will never have a problem with. I did more research and used a magnet to check the putter head material. The magnet stuck to the club head which confirmed my suspicion. Also the headcover did not have the "Made exclusively for Titleist" tag on the inside. I ended up getting a refund after I went through the resolution center. I went to a local golf store and purchased a legitimate Scotty Studio Select and it is the best putter I have ever had! I also own an older Scotty Terilyium and detour and this is the best. Great feedback allows for superior distance control. Putting is about confidence and a Scotty will give you confidence knowing you are putting with the best money can buy. I would recommend the putter but use caution when purchasing online.

Like most golfers, it was hard to get off the money for this putter, especially when I had been putting well with my old putter for several years. But, after trying the Cameron at a demo, I decided it might just be worth it....I was right!
Cameron deserves the reputation they have achieved for quality golf products. This putter is well constructed, well balanced,and just a beautiful golf club to the eye (which is equally important). After I had the club fitted to my setup, I found the milled face and heavier weight (15 grams) to provide a smooth take away and consistent stroke through the ball, which has given me better distance control and ultimately more birdies!
You do need to be careful on Ebay; however, genuine Cameron products can be found through reputable dealers. If you find a unbelievable deal...take it for what it looks like!
But, having said all this, before you go out and spend this kind of money on a golf club, make sure your fundamentals are sound. Not that I am the best golfer in the world, but working on your fundamentals first may make all the difference in your game. Lastly, have your clubs set up properly to fit you...don't try to change to fit the clubs!

The best feeling putter you will ever buy, great role, and very easily to keep square at impact. The milled face releases the ball better then any other putter I have used. The saying "you get what you pay for" comes full circle when purchasing a Scotty Cameron, the best by far.
