Twitches (DVD, 2006)

Twitches is a movie about twin witches, who don't no each other or that they are witches until they meet. They were seperated at birth and brought to earth to save their lives. Both twins were adopted. Once the twins found out about their beginning, they helped save the land where they were born and they met their birth mother. My 11 yr old daughter loves this movie. I have watched it with her at lteast 5 times. She fisrt saw the movie on The Disney Channel year ago. It came out in the fall of 2006. We couldn't afford at the time to get the movie for her. So, I kept checking Ebay.

My favourite girls. Tia and Tamera shine as twin sisters separated at birth but finding each other again as teenagers and discovering that they were actually princesses from another planet. Although I am not a fan of witchcraft I love this movie because of Tia and Tamera and their great acting.

This was purchased for when the grandkids come for a visit. They are all very close and even though this is about twin girls who are witches, the little boys will watch it too. It is not scary like some of the Harry Potter movies. This movie is about friendship, love and honesty. It teaches all of us to follow our hearts and trust in one another. The kids like it and even us adults do too.

I bought this movie for my child who is at the age where magic and witches and warlocks are just captivating. I let my daughter have this, because it is a very positive film, it has several great messages to it about bravery, love and keeping your word, its highly entertaining and secretly i enjoy it too! The best thing about this movie is that for my daughters age (7) it wasn't frightening to her like some other witch stories can be, such as the latest Harry Potters, infact after watching Twitches my child actually could fall asleep and not have nightmares. I also bought the Halloweentown series and found that she enjoyes Twitches more than that, so overall this movie is kid friendly and won't make the adults want to twitch, its just a really cute family friendly movie.

Have always liked these twins! Saw this show on tv and very much enjoyed watching it, and knew I had to find the movie!Very cute, not too scary family movie.
