Making steady shoots on the go and using standard size tripods can slow you down with any camera, so it's smart to have one of these smaller ones to use when you need steadiness without height.
Pros: Usable on DSLRs(with lighter lens); Small in weight and size; easy to set up; screw adjustable fixing head; able to tighten screws on joints; PRICE;
Cons: Narrow leg span (heavier lens/camera may tip it over); after longer use screws may need tightening; plastic caps on bottom of the legs may result with low steadiness on low friction surfaces (easy to replace with rubber ones);
There is a lot of similar(identical) items made of more or less quality metals, but this tripod makes it to the top of my best buy list due great price/quality ratio.

I bought this Mini Tripod because I didn't have a small one and only had a 72" which still sat about 20" in the smallest size so I needed this to make Table Top videos and pictures whenever I needed.
I liked that it was compact and small, somewhat cute. Also cool that it does extend out too.
Couple cons was the quality was fairly cheap but you really can't expect too much for $1.50 that is a work product. My Sony A500 DSLR with a 18 - 55mm Kit Lens will fall over if not positioned right so it's really not recommended for a DSLR but for a point and shoot it works Great!! I do have to say the Ball joint will probably wear out over time if you use it a lot. Also not much point to tilt the camera because any camera will wall over being how light this tripod is.
I haven't tried any other mini tripods but so far for $1.50 it's a decent buy, others out there I've seen at Best Buy go for about $10 plus but you can see the difference in those.

I do not own this product, so my opinion of it is possibly of not much value, but, here we go - I think it is a neat little tripod, just how sturdy it is I don't know. If used with a small
camera I would imagine it could perform well & come quite handy in many situations, so it would be entirely up to a potential buyer - if they prefer this style (rigid legs) over other similar products available, this one appears to be as good as any! The phone clip feature sounds a little gimmicky, but, who knows, you may find it useful.

If I had the chance of getting another one I wouldn't bother.

Not as good as it looks. It's about 4 to 5 inches tall and isn't totally sturdy, the plastic is cheap, but for a buck I guess it's better than what you might expect?

It was the same as the original but only a fraction of the price.

This is the same exact tripod that came with our camera when we bought it new. My son broke the original one so I bought this one to replace it. I was surprised to find that it was the same as the original. The only difference is that it was a fraction of the price.
