This Xbox 360 version of the hit strategy game includes the original content from Warhammer: Mark of Chaos and its Battle March expansion as well as all-new features, intuitive control schemes and support for online play via the Xbox LIVE online entertainment network.


Thrusting players into Games Workshop's renowned fantasy world, players will be able to control six unique armies – the Empire, Chaos, Skaven, High Elves as well as the all-new Dark Elf and Orcs & Goblins forces – as they battle for supremacy in a world torn apart by constant warfare. The individual units of each army can be customized in great detail, allowing players to put their own mark on their fighting force and strike fear into their opponents with terrifying combinations of weaponry and armor. Players can also control Heroes and Champions for each army, high-powered units that gain new abilities as they tear through the opposition. On Xbox LIVE, up to four players can engage in massive multi-army clashes in head-to-head and team-based modes of play.

    Probably the worst documentation ever. Very short manual that barely scratches the surface of the controls. The tutorial is also poorly implemented as it runs at it's own pace, rather than waiting to see if you completely understand, and accomplish, a given task. The wonderful graphics and character movement are well executed, and the camera controls allow you full zoom, pan, tilt and truck capability, so you can move into almost any position, but these fail to overcome the documentation and control shortcomings.

    Bottom line ? The game will probably gather dust on the shelf.

    Being a Warhammer fan is what had me make the purchase....although I was a little disappointed. The gameplay/controls were the biggest issues. I like the whole RTS thing and its a nice change of pace. I also have Halo Wars and like that alot. I went through the tutorial to learn how to play and did fine through that, but when it came time to play through a campaign the controls were completely unresponsive. I tried playing it a couple of times, changed the batteries on my controller, and still the same results. I had to walk away from it...I plan on trying it again, but to me this was a big knock. All in all if you like RTS and are a Warhammer fan, then you would most likely get some enjoyment from the game.

    this game is really fun there is not that many strategy games out there for xbox 360 this game gives strategy a new level of awsome :D i give it a 5/5 i love warhammer its just a combination of awsomeness haha.

    I bought this game a long time after it came out. Why? Just got an XBOX. Always been a warhammer fan. So, it seemed like a natural. Fun game. I like that you can play through different saga with different races. Very cool. Graphics are so-so. But, you buy it for the real time strategy aspect and it delivers. You have to choose wisely throughout the game too. Which is cool. Your descisions will affect your game much later down the road. Pick it up. Try it out. I think you'll like it.

    Big fan of the warhammer/warhammer 40k universe
    Took a while to get used to from the pc version MoC,
    combats alittle weak at first, but over all its a fun game to play.
