I am using one of the drives in a Home office computer the other will go on the shelf as a spare. I always buy Western digital if I can I have only had one drive fail in many years.

Awesome brand-new product in wrapper, untouched. Western Digital is the only hard drives I will use in my computers and have been using for over 10 years.
Western Digital drives - Surpassed Performance.

For quite a long time I have used Western Digital drives. That's the reason I chose this one. Of course now there is color code describing quality and performance. While I could have chosen a larger capacity drive, I took this 160G drive for several reason. One is, with larger drives, when it comes time to scan for virus or clean up etc, the process is to hard to bare.
This for me was a good buy. However, at times, the reason why people sell their used PC parts becomes evident after a while. I am content with it.

The WD Caviar Blue hard drive is the way to go!

I purchased this WD 160gb hard drive for an upgrade for my Dell Optiplex 745. The hard drive was received inclosed in a antistatic bag, and as clean as a brand new hard drive. It booted up perfectly without a hitch and runs super "quiet". This is best Hard Drive i have ever bought. WD Caviar Blue is the way to go folks.
