) I bought two 500 GB SATA hard drives used and they are working great. I had two older drives that were going bad and cloned one of the drives and have lots of extra space with the second drive. I highly recommend Western Digital. I have had trouble with a refurbished drive but recommend Western Digital in either new or used condition.

I bought this hard drive on eBay, for a 1/3 the cost of what I could buy it locally at any of the computer shops, thus giving me the funds to make other upgrades to my computer as well.
I am constantly buying different products off of ebay, so I am always on the lookout for additional computer add-ons to add to my computer, and I am looking for another 500 gig HD just exactly like this one. If I find it, and the price is right, I may just end up buying it as well.

) I have my server running 24 hours a day. Excellent Drive for RAID type applications. Never had any problems with Western Digital Drives of this type. A real workhorse. Would recommend. I am planning on purchasing another of the same type soon.

) Great price, fast shipping at no charge, and this is a top quality hard drive. No documentation is included, just the hard drive. But Western Digital makes available (online) the fantastic Acronis True Image software for free, so if you need to do any transfer of data or migrating, you can download the software and accomplish this very easily. You might also consider whether you need to buy a SATA cable for the drive along with this order (if you're ADDING it to a system rather than just replacing a drive). Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!

This is a good hard drive for the price from a name brand manufacturer. I obviously don't know how long it will last but I have had other drives from this manufacturer that have lasted many years.
