) Although this 120gb hard drive only provides 111gb storage, it is fast, quiet and very reliable. The new plastic case with silicon protectors is a marked improvement over the old metal cases at half the weight. The 10 inch supplied USB cord is a little to short for convenience. Overall, I rate this unit as BEST BANG FOR THE BUCKS and recommend it for all levels of use.

I purchased a used laptop computer hard drive on E-Bay.
I wanted a new hard drive, but couldn't afford a new one.
I won it on bid and saved probably 40.00 from the new price.
It's important to see the actual picture of the hard drive to insure it is the right hard drive for your laptop. You should always consultant the specifications for your computer before purchasing a used part.
E-Bay has some outstanding values from excellent vendors when it comes to used laptop computer parts.

working right out the box at a good price.

This was a used 2.5" IDE notebook hard drive. The product tested as good. No bad sectors. Because of the flooding in the manufacturing plants, a new drive would have been cost prohibitive. This used drive should extend the life of my notebook computer for a reasonable amount of time.
