Price is fantastic!

It is plug-in-and-play but, in my case, this model is not fully compatible with my 600D and only manual firing is avaliable, even so, I still get wireless shooting by switching modes on the unit.
Wireless flashes are always fussy when it comes to signals and this is no exception, it will be very hard to hide this flash unit and still have a good signal; best to use a radio trigger.

Light quality and spread is good and the diffuse option is a very nice touch that some up market units do not have.

This is easily much better over the lower cannon speedlights as it has more power, more options, rotates and looks the part. However, build quality doesn't escape the cheap feel.

You NEED batteries installed even if it goes directly on the hot shoe, probably due to the wireless design.

I have put battery life as good as I haven't been able to fully test them yet and there are far too many variables for a good verdict.

Strobing is not surpising and only the best flash units can keep up with cameras, what I do like is the fast recharge rate and consistancy.

Now to the company... Service was swift and professional but postage was an issue, being delivered on the far side of the scale at 5 weeks - I normally receive larger parcels in 2-3 weeks.

In the end I would use this as an excellent entry level flash unit or a backup, however, at this price they are extreamly hard to beat and if you have any doubts why not shoot in RAW and edit out the flaws?

I initially bought this for my lighting kit as part of a wireless flash system, which works awsome with a reflective umbrella and remote trigger. I used it on my Lumix DSLR and it produces the most natural looking skin color out of all the flashes that i own. It takes 4 AA batteries which makes it very heavy specially if its directly mounted on your camera. It works with a generic wireless trigger so if this is what your buying it for then by all means go ahead and buy one. The price of this "no-name" brand really attracted it to me, but dont get fooled by the low price the quality and feel of the flash itself is awsome. The ability to change the power level accordingly is a very usefull tool however if your batteries are weak then its rendered useless. The diffuser it comes with is sufficient if your shooting at a close range and indoors. The metering could be better but at this price range you cant ask for much. I would recommend this for all Lumix & Micro 4/3 cameras if you just need a filler flash but not if your going to use it daily. The only thing i didnt like about this is the wieght and the fact that it doesnt have a re-chargable battery pack, besides that its a thumbs up!

The power control moves in whole stops from full to 1/64 power, and recharging takes 4.8 seconds at full power. Light distribution is suitable for use with a 50mm focal length, but an integrated diffusing panel drops over the head to scatter light over a wider area.

Manual control isn’t much use for casual snapping but it's ideal for controlled exposures, particularly when using the flashgun off-camera (which avoids the usual harshness inherent in flash-lit exposures). The YN460 is particularly suitable for this type of work, with a built-in slave mode to fire in sync with another flash, making it easy to trigger multiple units wirelessly. It comes with a mini stand with a thread for tripod mounting, plus a soft case.

The flash works as to be expected. I have been taken pictures for over 6 years for money; but by no means, I rank as a professional.

I use it as an off camera flash. I found it to have a slight learning curve to function consistently but a pro probably would have not had this problem. To flash consistently I had to keep the Nikon D90 on auto and the flash on S1/S2 mode.

I have experimented with other camera settings but I could not get the flash to fire consistently. Note that it did fire in other camera settings but not every time. I have not figured out why.
