) I bought this unit for use in a small A-Liner camper. I wanted a compact unit that could put out enough heat to easily heat the camper and that had a thermostat so that it could be left on at a lower level overnight. This one certainly fills the bill in all of these respects. I particularly like the oscillating feature which can be turned on in order to heat up the camper more quickly and then turned off again to allow overnight operation that does not directly blow on the sleepers. The unit works well and appears to be well made. I have not used it long enough to comment on its long term sturdiness, and that is why I stop at a 4 star rating, but it does come with a 1 year warranty.

It started out fine, as it was intended for. One month into daily use for about one hour a day to take the chill out of an 8' X 8' TV room, It started to labor at start up, but eventually came up to speed. Turning it off, and then back on, negated the wait for it to run at it's intended speed, although it wasn't made to be operated this way. I feel that it will not last a full heating season, as this is geting increasingly more tempermental, and I'm sure the switch will eventually fail altogether.
Not up to par compared to an 'original' Tatung, ceramic, cube heater purchased 20 years ago, and is still operating as intended.

Just purchased these heaters, but think that they will serve our purpose (keeping plants located in enclosed window room)warm warm during the winter...........
