Action HD Action-HD GVS 128 MB Camcorder - Gray

This camera is pretty dope. I won a used one for $70 (brand new ones sell for around $150) and I am roughly 95% satisfied. My only qualms are 1) that it could use a wider angle lens, even when zoomed all the way out it stays pretty close to your subject. And 2) the auto focus can be a bit slow sometimes. Other than that it's a pretty boss camera. The auto stabilization works really well and quality of video even in fairly low light is really good. The built-in microphone is kind of weak, but all built-in microphones blow so you can't fault Aiptek for that, plus it has a line-in for an external mic input. So problem solved.

I'd be hard pressed to find a better camera for the price. Obviously you're not going to shoot the next Transformers on this, but with a tripod and a decent shotgun mic, an amateur film maker could do some really cool stuff if they had the wherewithal.

Really great quality for a camera that is just under 200 Dollars, I have a Cinematic Camera but I use this on the side to take other footage. It has very good auto focus, great flash, easy to use, Great thing it has a Mic input, clear sound when used with the mic. Nice LCD. Takes great footage it the shots are kept stable and slow, use a tripod to get best footage and use a video editing software that can render HD footage such as from sony or from Adobe.

However, The design needs some work, I needs better hand grip, It somewhat zooms in when turned on, but that is no bother.

I'm really impressed with this camera... Small and lightweight, yet it has many of the camera features (like zoom, white balance, and image stabalizer) that many of the "pocket-size" cameras lack. All in all, a great camera for the price

Found this Unit to be as impressive as the reviews I had read about it, its compact size is perfect for travel, good battery life and quick recharging, fast focusing and the low light circuit work quite well, it only holds a 4 gb memory card,,but there cheep and easy to change, all in all I'm quite happy with this purchase, who would have thought just a year or 2 ago that you'd be able to buy an HD camcorder for this kinda price.

Camera works great but had a high pitched sound on all of the videos, update to Firmware release 2900 or later to fix this issue. After that, it works excellent, videos are very smooth and look crisp.
