    Product Information
An evil magician has stolen the Enchanted Chalice and has hidden it somewhere in the Kingdom. The object of Adventure is to rescue the Enchanted Chalice and place it inside the Golden Castle where it belongs. This is no easy task, as the Evil Magician has created three Dragons to hinder you in your quest. There is Yorgie the Yellow Dragon, who is just plain mean. There is Grundle the Green Dragon, who is mean and ferocious. And finally, there is Rhindle the Red Dragon, who is the most ferocious of all!

There are three castles in the Kingdom. Each castle has a gate over the entrance. The gate can be opened with the corresponding colored key. Explore every room, pathway and labyrinth of the castles to find items you will need to bring back the Enchanted Chalice!

    The first graphic adventure game

    Created: 02/04/07
Aww, this game was so much fun, you could play it for hours when it first came out. There was no other game like it! Castles, Dragons, sword, mazes, keys, etc.
There are different skill levels to play, but looking back there wasn't much of a challenge, even to kill the dragons with your sword was pretty easy.
Also worth mentioning is that you are just a little square block. The sword is evenlarger than you are.
Worth playing this game was for the "Secret message" or Easter Egg in the game. The first known to all videogames. Take the bridge into the Black Castle, find the secret doorless room and use the bridge to get the tiny "DOT", take the tiny dot to the screen with the thin black line on the edge, it's close to your yellow castle. The if another object is on this screen you will be past to past right through the black line, gaing access to the "Secret Room"!

    Atari Adventure

    Created: 11/10/10
After many years, I purchased Adventure for the Atari 2600 having remembered that it was one of the first truly classic video games with an adventure type theme, i.e.castles, swords, gold and dragons. Although the graphics seem primitive by today's video game standards, the game offers a certain charm that is virtually non-existent in today's games, and frankly, that can't be duplicated. Your character is on a quest to retrieve the gold chalice that is missing from the one of three castles. There is it guarded by dragons that can eat you alive! There are mazes, and on the harder levels even more intricate passageways, as well as numerous accessories, including a magnet, a sword, and a bridge. I recommend Adventure to a classic video game enthusiast.

Atari Adventure - The original adventure game

    Created: 31/03/10
This is simply a classic game that everyone needs to have played at some point. It is practically THE GAME that started the action-adventure genre of video games. If you haven't played it, nab a cartridge or Atari Flashback and play it!!! It's a lot of fun and is quite challenging on the higher levels. Atari forever!!!

    Atari Adventure First RPG

    Created: 09/07/08
This Atari game was the first of its kind. I decided to buy this game because it is a classic. I am a big fan of modern day Role Playing Games (RPG), and for me this is where it all began. In this game you have to navigate through castles and different worlds to conquer enemies, find treasure, and find keys to unlock new areas. I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves and respects a classic game.

Atari Adventure - VCS cartridge review

    Created: 24/01/11
This was probably the best adventure game on the Atari, an early easter egg included as well where you can find the designers name WITHIN THE GAME (by use of finding a dot in a secret room)

This game is a lot of fun - terrible graphics, even worse sound effects, but GREAT replay value!!

For the time it was a lot of fun. It should still be a lot of fun now. Just a great game

Works VERY well within its limitations!! Inspired a homebrew sequel (Adventure II) that is MUCH MUCH harder than level 3!!
