Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog (DVD, 2007)

I bought this recently, because I used to watch this show when I was little. I was afraid it was going to be like some older shows, that really aren't as good as you remember after you've grown up, but this show is still great, 15+ years later.

I think this would be a great show for kids today too, with the "sonic says" segments at the end, sometimes giving such important tips as remembering your phone number incase of an emergency. But even aside from that, it's just an amusing show that's fun to watch, with good voice acting, even. Even Tails, who some consider to have a bad voice actor, actually sounds believably like a small child, without sounding like they just grabbed some random 4-year-old to do the voice.

The DVD itself it great quality too. The picture looks a little grainy, like it originally did on TV, (since it's not remastered, or anything), but it won't affect watching experience. And the sound quality is great. It's as good of quality as any of your typical old cartoons on DVD.

In short, I would recommend this to anyone, whether watching it for nostalgia, for the first time, or showing it to their kids.

I LOVE this series regardless of the poor animation! This series brings back childhood memories! It brings back the good old days when me and my brother would wake up and catch this show together. Boy do I miss the 90s! LOL. Seriously, I do.

Although I am quite upset that this isn't the complete series, that did not stop me from purchasing it! Apparently, neither did the rest of the people that rushed to Best Buy and Circuit City (R.I.P.) to get it. I heard that they made a Vol. 2, so I might take the time to purchase that one.

Bottom Line: If you love silly, fun, and Sonic the Hedgehog, this is the DVD for you! And no, you don't have to be a nerd to enjoy it! I'm far from one and I LOVE it! ^_^

If you love Sonic and his games you well love this DVD set. Be warned it is really goofy and crazy most of the time. It is not like the comic book series or the Saturday Morning Sonic cartoon series. This is the Sonic cartoon that was shown during the weekdays. I remember coming home from school and watching these Sonic cartoons. Great times. Great cartoons.

First off, I am a HUGE Sonic The Hedgehog fan. I watched these cartoons when I was a child and bought them mostly for collection purposes but also to re-watch them. If you are an adult buying these episodes for entertainment I am afraid you will likely be bored out of your mind. ;) These cartoons where created with children in mind, they have lots of clean humor and the classic style of Hero stops the bad guys. I HIGHLY suggest you get this series for your children, I know they'll love it. :D Enjoy!! :D

This is an Awesome series of Sonic cartoons I used to watch as a kid every morning before school. I have very good memories of this series and how it connected with my love of the games for the Sega Genesis coupled with a great childhood makes this a MUST HAVE in my library of DVD's. I recommend it to everyone who loves sonic and has the same memories as myself and also to younger kids who never had the chance to watch this show on TV presently. I will be showing my youngest brother this and hope he likes it!
