Movie synopsis
Based on actual events, this satiric drama--based on true events--tells the story of an airline allegedly purchased by the CIA solely for the purpose of opium and heroin smuggling out of Laos to help finance the Vietman War. One pilot (Mel Gibson) believes in his mission. The other (Robert Downey, Jr.) would like to do the whole program in. The retired General who heads the operation will do anything to protect it.

) This is a great movie for those of you who like war, flying or just adventure all together. Very funny throughout the film, wouldn't recommend it for children, although it's not all that bad. Definitely recommend! From a pilot's perspective, I get a kick out of some of the approaches that are performed, and the various situations the main characters find themselves in throughout each flight.

Already saw it on TV, wanted a copy on DVD. Like VHS version, the sound was a little off. Music louder than the dialogue, the fault of the original copies, not the vendor. Great picture quality, no complaints.
Good fun movie, lots of flying action!

) Lots of flying action from the very beginning. The first half has lots of action, the third quarter starts to drag when they start spending too much time on the ground. Then the action picks up again in the last quarter, and it literally finishes with a bang.
