Album Notes
This is an Enhanced audio CD which contains regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files.Sum 41: Bizzy D, Brown Sound (vocals, guitar); Cone (bass); Stevo 32 (drums).Additional personnel: Greig "Capitol G" Nori (guitar, background vocals).Engineers include: Joel Kazmi, Joe McGrath, Alan Sanderson.Recorded at Metalworks, Toronto, Canada and Cello Studios, Los Angeles, California.Audio Mixer: Tom Lord-Alge.Recording information: Cello Studios, Los Angeles, CA; Metalworks, Toronto, ONT.Photographer: Jonathan Mannion. This young pop-punk quartet might seem to be following in the steps of such bands as Blink 182, but they bring something of their own to the table on ALL KILLER NO FILLER. Though much of this album is occupied by bratty, post-Green Day melodic punk with the occasional, reverential nod to old-school punk rock ("Nothing on My Back"), Sum 41 seems self-aware enough to effectively spoof itself. "Maiden and Priest were the gods that we praised," they proudly proclaim on the satirical "Fat Lip," which also finds them flirting with rap-metal. Meanwhile, the breathlessly catchy "Rhythms" has enough guitar hooks and melodic vocal harmonies to please any power-pop fan. While there's not enough of a sense of punk history displayed here to give you nostalgic memories of the Buzzcocks, Sum 41 does have enough going on upstairs to put them a step or two ahead of the rest of the pop-punk pack.

Editorial Reviews
3 out of 5 stars - ...They're new millenium punk - slick, self-aware master entertainers in baggy shorts. ALL KILLER lays a hearty ground cover of 'la-la-la' superpop underneath its metal-hip-hop-ska shrubs...

-Fat Lip-

Created: 01/02/08
Classic Sum41 sound, including "Fat Lip" and "In too Deep". When my old collection of CDs got stolen I knew my new collection had to include this CD. Sum41's affection for cool guitar riffs and amp-blowing choruses makes them one of my favorite punk-rock artists. Although 'Fat Lip' is not as heavy as their later work, the two songs mentioned above alone are enough of a reason to purchase this CD.

Sum 41

Sum 41 is one of those "ok" bands. They have a unique sound, but haven't put out many new tracks lately. If you are looking for a couple pop-rock songs that played on the radio several years ago, then this cd will suit your need.

Sum41 will not crack your skull but it still rocks

This CD is a medium tempo punk collection. Although I think Does this look infected is a beter CD this one rounded out my collection and songs like:

All Shes Got and Crazy Amanda would not be missed if they were cut

Songs like In Too Deep, Motivation, and Fat Lip make the CD worth about $10

All Killer No Filler is an action packed hour of fast licks, drums, and bass. I have loved this CD since it first came out and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a fast, melodic, strait to the point Punk Rock band!

Sum 41 - All Killer No Filler Review

Created: 02/03/09
This CD is one of Sum 41's earlier ones. It has the hit song Fat Lip. Personally, I love their old music as well as their new music. If you like Blink 182 or Lit, then you'll like this band. Their category would be 90s rock. Overall, I think this is a great CD and a great addition to any music collection.
