Great plan book that is realistic!!

I personally love this book. It has a lot of recipes that have easy ingredients and a whole diet plan that is easy to follow. The first 2 weeks it just gets you started, you could loose during this time but you may not. You mostly start losing pounds during the 3rd week and every week after that. The book also has very easy but very effective excercises that will not wear you out. All in all I give this book a good A.

All Diet Plan, by Caroline Apovian

The recipes are easy and good, but if you don't have the time to cook you get to follow some guides to restaurants and frozen foods. It's a bit hard to plan for this diet if you don't cook a lot (which I don't.) I actually spent a good hour developing an eating plan and a shopping list. The main point is that you are monitoring your portion size, eating breakfast, and eating low-calorie snacks to tide you over.

I actually haven't taken the Alli pills yet. I'm not lookin' forward to the "oily discharge." My car has enough oily discharge without my adding to the problem.

I have both the Starter Kit AND this book

Yes, the starter kit includes cards which have some of the same information contained in this book. I still think the book is a great asset, as it is far easier to find the exact chapter you need, whether it is starting a walking or other exercise plan - or simply planning meals, with tons of recipes included in Chapter 6
Other benefits of this book include:
A Detailed explanation of how Alli works

Explaining each of the three phases of the diet as well as menus for each phase

Teaching people how to stick to the plan and still eat out

Exercise

Recipes which are LOW in fat, minimizing the unpleasant side effects of taking too much fat while on this medication.

ALLI book pretty helpful

This book makes the Alli diet extremely easy to follow. It has many recipes and what I love is that it also has no cook options for people on the go. Also handy is the fast food guide which shows you what dishes are okay to eat while still following the plan. Its an informative easy to read book and is a must have for anyone on the Alli diet plan.
